China National Air Separation Engineering Co., Ltd.(CNASEC) is a joint-stock enterprise formed through the comprehensive restructuring of the former China Air Separation Equipment Company and established with diversified equity ownership. It was founded in 1981. Currently, it is a key state-owned enterprise directly managed by the central government and a controlling subsidiary of China Puhua Machinery Industry Co., Ltd., which in turn is part of the China National Machinery Industry Corporation—the Fortune Global 500 company.
After more than 40 years of development, China Air Separation has become a specialized engineering company whose core strength lies in technology, and which offers a comprehensive range of services including engineering design, consulting, and general contracting. Its business areas encompass industrial gas production, natural gas liquefaction, cryogenic liquid storage and transportation, environmental protection projects and advanced wastewater treatment and reuse, chemical engineering, integrated energy recovery and utilization, and automated control systems.
The company holds Grade A design qualifications in chemical engineering, petroleum and petrochemical product storage and transportation, as well as specialized Grade A qualifications in environmental engineering—specifically for water pollution control projects—and specialized Grade B qualifications for air pollution control projects. It also possesses Grade B design qualifications in municipal engineering (drainage projects), along with design qualifications for pressure vessels and pressure pipelines. Additionally, the company has Grade II general contracting qualifications for mechanical and electrical engineering, Grade II general contracting qualifications for municipal public works, Grade I specialized contracting qualifications for environmental protection engineering, and Grade II specialized contracting qualifications for electronic and intelligent engineering. Furthermore, the company has been awarded the title of “National High-Tech Enterprise.”
The company boasts a professionally equipped and highly experienced engineering and technical team, with professionals of various specialties accounting for 90% of the total workforce. More than 80 of its staff members are nationally registered professionals. Since its establishment, the company has undertaken over 1,000 projects spanning engineering design, complete sets of equipment supply, construction engineering, project management, and EPC general contracting. It has obtained three national proprietary technologies, nearly 80 invention patents, utility model patents, and software copyrights.
