Project Description
Full Project Name: EPC General Contracting Project for the 75,000 Nm³/h Air Separation Unit of the 1-Million-Ton-per-Year Methanol Production Capacity Retrofit Project for Coal-to-Oil Synthesis Gas by Zhongmei E’nehua
Project Overview: In September 2018, the company successfully won the bid. In November 2021, the air separation unit was started up successfully on its first attempt, smoothly producing qualified oxygen and nitrogen products. The 1-million-ton-per-year methanol technology upgrade project of Zhongmei E’nehua Company, located in the Tuke Industrial Park in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, is a large-scale coal chemical project developed by the China National Coal Group based on the first-phase Tuke Fertilizer Project. It aims to build a complete industrial chain for coal chemical development in the Mongolia-Shaanxi region and achieve the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. This project marks the second collaboration between the two parties, following their earlier partnership on the first-phase 2×40,000 Nm³/H air separation project of Zhongmei Ordos Energy & Chemical Co., Ltd., which was completed in 2013.
From the 40,000 Nm³/h air separation unit to the 75,000 Nm³/h air separation unit, the successful commissioning of the Zhongmei project marks the company’s entry into a new stage of ultra-large-scale air separation EPC turnkey projects and represents a significant milestone in the field of air separation general contracting!
