Lianyungang Rongtai Chemical Storage Co., Ltd. Commercial Storage Tank Area Project – Low-Temperature Storage Tank Area Project: EPC Contract for 20,000 m³ Low-Temperature Ethylene and 50,000 m³ Low-Temperature Liquid Ammonia Projects

Full Project Name: EPC Engineering for the Low-Temperature Storage Tank Area Project—20,000 m³ Low-Temperature Ethylene and 50,000 m³ Low-Temperature Liquid Ammonia at the Commercial Storage Tank Area of Lianyungang Rongtai Chemical Warehousing Co., Ltd. Project Overview: The Low-Temperature Storage Tank Area Project (Phase II) of the Commercial Storage Tank Area of Lianyungang Rongtai Chemical Warehousing Co., Ltd. is located in the National Demonstration Zone for East-Central-West Regional Cooperation (Xuwei New Area), one of the seven major petrochemical industry bases in China—the Lianyungang Petrochemical Industry Base. The company is responsible for the entire EPC process, including project initiation, preparation of feasibility study reports, engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, and cooperation in completion acceptance, for both the low-temperature ethylene and low-temperature liquid ammonia tank areas as well as their supporting facilities. The project scope includes a 20,000 m³ full-containment tank system for low-temperature ethylene, a 50,000 m³ full-containment tank system for low-temperature liquid ammonia, 10 spherical tank systems for various media, and the entire utility systems and external dock pipeline corridor systems for the tank area. Among these, the 50,000 m³ full-containment tank for low-temperature liquid ammonia currently represents the largest-scale low-temperature liquid ammonia storage tank in China. The project achieves integrated control, management, and operation of low-temperature ethylene, low-temperature liquid ammonia, and ambient-temperature liquefied hydrocarbons, covering dock loading and unloading operations, road transportation loading and unloading, and pipeline transportation—all reaching domestically advanced standards.

Project Description

Full Project Name: EPC Engineering for the Low-Temperature Storage Tank Area Project—20,000 m³ Low-Temperature Ethylene and 50,000 m³ Low-Temperature Liquid Ammonia, Commercial Storage Tank Area Project of Lianyungang Rongtai Chemical Storage Co., Ltd.

Project Overview: The Phase II Low-Temperature Tank Farm Project of the Commercial Storage Tank Area of Lianyungang Rongtai Chemical & Storage Co., Ltd. is located in the National Demonstration Zone for East-Central-West Regional Cooperation (Xuwei New Area), which is one of the nation’s seven major petrochemical industry bases—Lianyungang Petrochemical Industry Base. The company is responsible for the entire project lifecycle—from project initiation and preparation of feasibility study reports, to engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, and coordination of completion acceptance—all under an EPC model. The project scope includes a 20,000-cubic-meter full-containment low-temperature ethylene tank system, a 50,000-cubic-meter full-containment low-temperature liquid ammonia tank system, ten spherical tank systems for various media, as well as the utility systems and external dock pipeline corridors for the entire tank farm. Among these, the 50,000-cubic-meter full-containment low-temperature liquid ammonia tank currently represents the largest-scale low-temperature liquid ammonia storage facility in China. The project achieves integrated control, management, and operation of low-temperature ethylene, low-temperature liquid ammonia, and ambient-temperature liquefied hydrocarbons—including terminal loading and unloading of ships, road transportation via trucks, and pipeline transportation—thus reaching a domestically advanced level.
