Pakistan’s Engro Company’s 28,000-ton-per-year (100% basis) hydrogen peroxide EP project.

Project Description

Project Overview:

Located within the Port Qasim area of Karachi, Pakistan, along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, this project is owned by the Angu Group—the largest energy company in Pakistan. The project employs the world’s most advanced fluidized-bed technology, which boasts high hydrogenation efficiency and eliminates issues common in fixed-bed reactors, such as channeling, bypassing, and localized over-hydrogenation, thereby ensuring superior product quality. The concentration equipment used—from dilute to concentrated products—is based on proprietary, independently developed technology. The resulting product can be further upgraded to electronic-grade hydrogen peroxide, suitable for use in precision manufacturing industries such as microelectronics and semiconductors.
