Project Overview:
This project is a key initiative in Henan Province and represents the fifth turnkey EPC contract for an air separation unit signed following the 2003 collaboration between China Air Separation and Anyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. Located in the Iron and Steel Industrial Park of Shenqiu County, Zhoukou City, Henan Province, the project includes a 30,000 Nm³/h air separation unit, a liquefaction plant, a backup system, a 40,000 Nm³/h air compression unit, a spherical tank system, as well as crude neon-helium and low-krypton-xenon distillation units, along with associated auxiliary facilities.
The completion of the project has strongly boosted the construction of this multimillion-ton steel production base, providing new momentum for large-scale steel enterprises to enhance quality and efficiency, and accelerate their transformation and upgrading. At the same time, it is helping Zhoukou shift its economic model from a “yellow earth economy” to a “blue water economy,” showcasing the remarkable achievements of China National Machinery Industry Corporation.
