Pujiang Crystal Industry Cluster Development Co., Ltd. was established in 2013 and, in 2014, invested in and developed four crystal industry cluster parks in Pujiang County. To address the environmental pollution issues faced by the resident enterprises, the company constructed high-standard wastewater treatment plants in the central, eastern, and southern parks. These plants have successfully passed environmental protection inspections and have been officially put into operation since 2016. The central plant has a daily treatment capacity of 12,000 m³/day, the eastern plant 8,000 m³/day, and the southern plant 3,000 m³/day. The company has been responsible for operating these plants under a 10-year contract starting from August 2018.
