CNASEC Joins Technology Exchange Day of SINOMACH and China Energy

On July 1, the China National Machinery Industry Corporation and the China Energy Group held a technology‑day exchange event in Beijing under the theme “Industry Integration, Cooperation for Mutual Success.” Zhou Kaiquan, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China National Machinery Industry Corporation, attended the event, while Yan Guochun, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy General Manager of the China Energy Group, also attended and delivered a speech.
This event marks a substantive follow-up to the strategic cooperation framework agreement signed by the two groups, implementing their collaborative commitments in a “head-to-head” manner. It aims to forge deep links between China National Machinery Industry Corporation’s equipment-manufacturing capabilities and the State Energy Group’s application scenarios. The event adopts a “display-plus‑dialogue” format: prior to the main session, representatives from both groups toured exhibits showcasing independently developed products and technological solutions from enterprises including SINOMACH Heavy Equipment, SINOMACH Instrumentation Group, Hefei General Institute, SINOMACH Intelligent, Beijing Crane Research Institute, Lanke High-Tech, and China Air Separation.
CNASEC focuses on large-scale air separation projects, cryogenic storage and transportation systems, green and low-carbon engineering, and intelligent operation-and-maintenance services. At this exhibition, the company is showcasing an EPC turnkey solution for large-scale air separation and cryogenic storage‑transportation systems, covering the entire coal‑based chemical industry chain. In addition, by addressing energy‑saving optimization and smart upgrades for existing facilities, as well as energy‑efficiency and carbon‑reduction retrofits, the company is comprehensively strengthening the foundation for an independently controllable, safe, and highly efficient coal‑based chemical industry, thereby driving the sector’s green, intelligent, and high‑quality development.

During the thematic discussion session, Xu Xianghui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CNASEC, delivered a special presentation titled “Technical Practices Supporting the Autonomous and Controllable Full Industrial Chain of Coal‑Based Chemicals through Large‑Scale Air Separation and Cryogenic Storage & Transportation Systems.” He highlighted China Air Separation’s end-to-end engineering capabilities—covering the role and engineering expertise of air separation systems in coal‑based chemical processes, the engineering capacity of large‑scale cryogenic storage and transportation systems, green and low‑carbon technologies, and intelligent solutions—and outlined future avenues for collaboration. His remarks underscored the company’s robust technical and project‑execution support, providing the coal‑based chemical industry with a wealth of mature, reliable technological solutions and practical engineering experience.
Precise Alignment: Five Key Areas of Cooperation
During the exhibition and exchange, Zhang Xingdong, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of CNASEC, highlighted to the attending leaders the company’s core technological capabilities in its EPC‑turnkey solutions for large‑scale air separation and cryogenic storage‑transport systems tailored to the entire coal‑based chemical industry chain. He also engaged in in-depth discussions with relevant subsidiaries of the National Energy Group on key areas of collaboration, including technical proposals, intelligent operations and maintenance, and, in particular, steam‑to‑electricity conversion projects aimed at energy conservation and carbon reduction.
