Just as the drumbeat of the college entrance examination has faded, midsummer arrives, sweeping across the land with sweltering heatwaves. In the scorching city of Nanjing, at the site of the Jiangsu Andefu 49,000 m³ cryogenic liquid ammonia storage tank and supporting facilities project—undertaken by China Air Separation—the fiery “high-temperature baking” season has officially begun. The project’s frontline workers, undaunted by the intense heat, are racing against time to deliver a stellar engineering masterpiece. Currently, construction of the outer tank is nearing successful completion!

Since the start of construction last October, the Andefu Project has established the “Andefu Low-Temperature Liquid Ammonia Project Party Member Pioneer Team” to harness the power of the Party as a driving force and propel project development forward. Under the exemplary leadership of the Party Member Pioneer Team, all members have united as one and fought vigorously, completing the foundation pouring for the low-temperature liquid ammonia storage tanks ahead of the Spring Festival. As the new year begins, the project shows no signs of slowing down: in March, it entered the tank installation phase; by May, all pile foundation work had been completed. Currently, construction of the outer tank is nearing completion, while civil engineering and pipeline system installation are simultaneously progressing at full speed, with all efforts focused on achieving the mid-year handover target by the end of December.

Recently, as temperatures in Nanjing have been steadily rising, the surface temperature at construction sites has already exceeded 50°C. The scorching sunlight is baking rebar and steel plates, making even the air feel unbearably hot. At the site, project personnel are fully focused on their work.
