CNASEC Holds a Meeting to Announce the Appointment of Cadres

On the morning of October 27, China Air Separation held a conference to announce the appointment of new cadres. Chen Feng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Sumida Group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Jia Yu, General Manager of the Human Resources Department (which also includes the Party Committee’s Organization Department and Daren Academy), read out the appointment documents. Members of the leadership team of China Air Separation and mid-to-senior-level cadres attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Xu Xianghui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.


At the meeting, Jia Yu read out the appointment document: After careful deliberation by the Party Committee of Sumida, Zhou Lijun has been appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China Air Separation Engineering Co., Ltd.

Chen Feng, representing the Party Committee of Sumeda, explained the details of this recent adjustment in leadership positions at China Air Separation. He also put forward four hopes and requirements for the leadership team of China Air Separation as well as for the company’s future development:
First, strengthen strategic guidance and continue to enhance and expand our core business. We must strengthen strategic thinking and systems-based approaches, scientifically formulate strategic plans for high-quality development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, enhance our core competitiveness, consolidate and expand our core businesses, accelerate the upgrading and quality improvement of our operations, and make every effort to win the tough battle for high-quality development.
Second, we will consolidate the driving force for progress and steadily advance cultural integration led by Party building. We must effectively leverage the leading role of Party building, continuously deepen the integration of Party building with business operations, use Party building to boost morale, foster a strong corporate culture, and build cohesive teamwork. We should also ensure smooth integration of Sumida’s corporate culture into China Air Separation, thereby cultivating the soft power that drives high-quality development of China Air Separation.
Third, we will highlight exemplary leadership and continue to strengthen the building of the air separation unit’s leadership team. Team members must elevate their perspective, consistently prioritize the company’s interests above all else, and take full responsibility for the company as well as for all managers and employees. In the face of complex situations, they must adopt a broad, strategic outlook; when confronted with difficulties and challenges, they must remain steadfast and resilient. They should maintain close communication, foster unity and collaboration, and rally everyone’s efforts toward common development.
Fourth, we must adhere to the principle of identifying and selecting talent through competition, and effectively strengthen the building of our cadre and talent pool. We must further strengthen the philosophy of “putting hardworking individuals first and focusing on high performance,” and strive to foster an organizational atmosphere characterized by integrity, positivity, and simplicity. This will help outstanding cadres and talents grow and succeed, providing the necessary cadre and talent support for China’s air separation industry to achieve high-quality development.

Zhou Lijun delivered a statement, saying that the mission is both glorious and fraught with great responsibility. In his future work, he will strive to uphold “four commitments”: First, maintain a high political stance and strengthen sense of responsibility; second, stay committed to fulfilling duties and delivering tangible, effective results; third, foster unity and collaboration to build synergies for development; and fourth, hold oneself to strict standards and remain honest and upright.

Finally, Xu Xianghui delivered a statement on behalf of the leadership team of China Air Separation. He stated that they firmly support the decision made by the Party Committee of Sumida and will do their utmost to create a favorable working environment for Comrade Zhou Lijun, jointly fostering a positive work atmosphere characterized by unity, collaboration, harmony, and integrity. They will fully leverage the collective strengths of the leadership team, effectively transforming the Party’s political and organizational advantages into the company’s developmental and competitive edge, and pooling efforts to drive robust development. Focusing on their core responsibilities and main business, they will continuously enhance the core competitiveness of the Air Separation Division and strive vigorously to promote the company’s high-quality development.
