The Party Committee of China Air Separation held the 2023 Annual Performance Review Meeting for Party Member Leading Cadres on Party Building Work.

To deepen the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party, consolidate the achievements of thematic education, further implement the requirements for comprehensively enforcing strict Party governance, and strengthen the responsibilities of Party member leading cadres in Party building work, in accordance with the deployment and requirements of the Party Committee of China Pudong Development Bank and the company’s Party Committee, the company’s Party Committee convened a performance appraisal meeting for Party member leading cadres on the afternoon of January 25. Party member leading cadres of the company and relevant heads of the Party Committee’s functional departments attended the meeting. Lou Jiangning, Secretary of the company’s Party Committee and Chairman of the Board, presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, the company’s Party member leading cadres focused closely on seven key areas—“the thorough study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,” “the deepened implementation of the spirit of the National Conference on Party Building in State-Owned Enterprises,” “the promotion of grassroots Party organizations’ service to ‘national priorities’ and the effective leveraging of the roles of grassroots Party organizations and Party members,” and “taking the lead in ensuring the practical implementation of key tasks in grassroots Party building”—and delivered reports on their performance in Party building duties for 2023. Prior to the meeting, the company’s Party member leading cadres had carefully prepared their report materials, thoroughly identified prominent existing problems, analyzed their root causes, and proposed specific solutions and measures. This effort further enhanced their political awareness, political literacy, and political capabilities, providing solid support and guarantees for the company’s high-quality development.
Party Secretary and Chairman Lou Jiangning provided a detailed evaluation, one by one, of the performance of the company’s Party member leaders in their duties related to Party building over the past year, and... Regarding further implementing the Party building responsibility system and enhancing the ability of Party member leading cadres to fulfill their “dual responsibilities” for each post, four requirements were put forward:
First, we must elevate our political awareness and strengthen Party building, making persistent and sustained efforts to foster absolute loyalty. We must always stay firmly on the right political course, shoulder our political responsibilities, and remain fully aligned with the nation’s strategic guidelines and the decisions and deployments of higher authorities. We must consistently use the Party’s innovative theories to unite hearts and strengthen spirits, continuously consolidate and expand the achievements of thematic education, and lay a solid foundation and forge a strong spiritual core for the company’s reform and development, thereby rallying strength and providing guiding leadership.
Second, we must closely align Party building with the central overall situation and persistently exert efforts to empower and guide development. We must closely align with the company’s key and challenging reform and development tasks as well as the 2024 targets, truly leverage the leading role of Party building, bravely tackle tough challenges, build the company’s core competitiveness, and resolutely achieve new breakthroughs in promoting high-quality development.
Third, we must focus on strengthening the foundation and consolidating the basics in Party building, and persistently work hard to reinforce our organizational system. We must firmly and effectively shoulder the political responsibility for governing and managing the Party, and promote grassroots Party organizations to strive for excellence and achieve comprehensive strength. We need to continuously deepen the building of learning-oriented Party organizations, leveraging learning to empower future development. We must keep motivating cadres to take on responsibilities and act decisively, cultivating a cadre team capable of shouldering heavy burdens, a contingent of Party members dedicated and committed, and a high-caliber, professional talent pool.
Fourth, we must strengthen Party building through the enhancement of work style and persistently cultivate a culture of diligence and integrity. We must thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, deepen the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party and the Party’s self-revolution, and consistently promote the integrated approach of “three no-corruption” measures. We should carry out targeted disciplinary education effectively, always strictly abide by political discipline and political norms, and strive to foster a sound and upright political environment.
Lou Jiangning emphasized that the Party member leaders of the company should take this performance evaluation as an opportunity to fully implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, consolidate and deepen the achievements of the thematic education, uphold the guiding role of Party building values, and firmly grasp the primary task of high-quality development. They should pursue truthfulness and pragmatism, work diligently and effectively, and make contributions to opening up a new chapter of high-quality development for the company!
