On May 11, Yang Guoren, Director of the Management Committee of the Huai'an Industrial Park in Jiangsu Province, and his delegation visited China Air Separation. Together with China Air Separation’s pioneering new “Jihe HuiNeng (S2BSC)” model, they engaged in an in-depth discussion and exchange on current development bottlenecks in the park as well as future cooperation opportunities. Xu Xianghui, General Manager of China Air Separation, along with Lu Qi, Chief Engineer and General Manager of the Chemical Engineering Company, warmly welcomed Yang Guoren and his delegation.

During the meeting, Xu Xianghui provided a detailed introduction to the company’s profile and core business, with a particular focus on the S2BSC model—pioneered by Air Separation—and its application in chemical industry parks such as Zoucheng and Laizhou in Shandong Province. Lu Qi proposed a new approach—“releasing old cages without replacing the birds”—for existing enterprises within the Huaian Industrial Park to leverage the innovative S2BSC model for quality enhancement and upgrading. He also outlined feasible pathways for the specialized chemical industrial park identified in earlier research.

Xu Xianghui stated that the “Hui Neng” (S2BSC) model is a new type of industrial cooperation initiative proposed by China Air Separation in the development of industrial parks. Leveraging its own technological strengths and EPC project management expertise, China Air Separation is actively exploring and cultivating new forms of productive forces, poised to deliver breakthrough results in the field of fine chemical park engineering. He expressed hope that both parties will collaborate closely and jointly explore new opportunities for growth.

Yang Guoren expressed his approval of the S2BSC development model and provided an overview of the development status of the Huaian Industrial Park. He noted that, as the number of enterprises in the park continues to grow and production capacities keep upgrading, the park is now facing new opportunities for development. At the same time, however, it also confronts numerous challenges, such as optimizing resource allocation and exploring new avenues for growth. He expressed hope that by drawing on this new model, the park and its stakeholders can jointly explore innovative pathways for sustainable development.
The two sides also reached a consensus on topics such as infrastructure development within the park, technological requirements, and cooperation models. Moving forward, both sides will continue to strengthen communication and collaboration, jointly exploring a new model for high-quality development of the Huaian Industrial Park and making every effort to promote the park’s sustained prosperity and growth.
