Foreword: 2024 is a pivotal year for our company—a year in which we will seize opportunities, build momentum, and empower ourselves to catch up, surpass others, and accelerate high-quality development. The Party Committee of China Air Separation has launched the thematic campaign “Pioneers Lead by Example, Shining with Our Party Emblem on the Front Lines,” extensively establishing task forces composed of Party members. Each Party branch has taken “projects led by branch secretaries” and “innovative projects spearheaded by Party members” as key platforms. As a result, the vast majority of Party members have further strengthened their determination and confidence to “always strive for the highest honors, always compete for leadership, always overcome difficulties, and always emerge victorious in battle”—charging ahead and fighting at the very forefront!

On May 20, good news came from the Hangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau: In its "Notice on the Recognition of Hangzhou Enterprise High-Tech Research and Development Centers for 2024," the company’s application for the “Hangzhou China Air Separation High-end Intelligent Chemical Equipment Enterprise High-tech Research and Development Center” was successfully recognized. This achievement highlights the remarkable progress made by China Air Separation in the field of high-end intelligent chemical equipment, further strengthening the foundation for the company’s high-quality development and injecting new momentum into its efforts to promote technological innovation and accelerate the formation of new, high-quality productive forces.
Party building leads the way in overcoming difficulties and tackling tough challenges.
Currently, China’s high-end chemical industry is experiencing robust growth. However, the supply chain for high-end chemicals still has significant shortcomings, and there is an urgent need to strengthen independent R&D and innovation capabilities. In response to the nation’s industrial development strategy, Chief Engineer and General Manager Lu Qi has taken the lead in launching a Party member task force project—the research on key technologies for flexible chemical equipment based on integrated cloud-edge-device intelligent control. This project focuses on the fields of new materials and high-end chemicals, integrating AIGC (generative AI) technology into R&D and innovation. The team is committed to developing chemical equipment that boasts advantages such as being green, highly efficient, miniaturized, automated, and intelligent—using technological innovation to continuously enhance the company’s new-quality productivity.

In the process of developing high-end, intelligent, and automated equipment, the Party member task force has encountered numerous technical challenges, such as modular reconstruction, development of intelligent edge devices, and information security. To address these challenges, the Party member task force has organized multiple online and offline technical solution workshops, worked overtime late into the night to overcome technical hurdles, and actively engaged in industry-academia-research collaborations with Zhejiang Zhongkong Research Institute Co., Ltd., Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University City College, and Zhejiang Zhikong Technology Co., Ltd., jointly promoting technological breakthroughs and the commercialization of research outcomes.
Achieve remarkable results, drive innovative development.
Through relentless efforts, the Party member task force has continuously achieved new breakthroughs. The project “Research on Key Technologies for Flexible Chemical Equipment Based on Cloud-Edge-End Integrated Intelligent Control” has been successfully selected for Zhejiang Province’s 2024 “Pioneer, Leading Goose + X” Key R&D and Problem-Solving Program. Additionally, the Hangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau has officially recognized the Hangzhou China Air Separation High-Tech Intelligent Chemical Equipment Enterprise as a High-Tech Research and Development Center. Meanwhile, several innovative achievements have already been successfully applied in the Hangzhou Longju Waste Gas Treatment Project and the Pakistan Anglo Hydrogen Peroxide Project, demonstrating promising market prospects and significant economic and social benefits.

Next, the Party member task force will continue to deepen the application of AIGC technology in the R&D of chemical equipment, stepping up innovation efforts in areas such as integrated design of automated synthesis processes, real-time digital twins incorporating multimodal fusion based on BIM technology, and highly reliable remote transmission with multi-channel dynamic collaboration. By harnessing new-quality productivity, we will continuously drive forward China’s independent innovation in air separation technology. At the same time, we will actively promote our research findings, strengthen in-depth cooperation with specialized industrial park projects, and make positive contributions to enhancing our country’s independent innovation capabilities and international competitiveness in the high-end chemical industry.
