On July 4, the PCO general contracting project for the upgrading and connection to the municipal sewage system of the Jinhua Health Bio-Industry Park Wastewater Treatment Plant—constructed by China Air Separation—successfully passed acceptance testing. This marks the successful completion of the project’s construction goals and signifies a smooth transition from project construction to project operation and maintenance management. The project is of great significance for improving the park’s environmental quality and promoting its green and sustainable development.

The acceptance personnel listened to work reports from all participating construction units, reviewed relevant project documentation, and conducted on-site inspections. After unanimous agreement, they concluded that the upgrading and connection project of the JinHua Health Bio-Industry Park Wastewater Treatment Plant has been completed in accordance with the design drawings and project construction requirements, meets the relevant standards and operational conditions, and has passed the completion acceptance with qualified engineering quality.

The upgrading and connection project for the wastewater treatment plant in the Jinhua Health Bio-Industry Park includes the construction of a new industrial wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 18,000 tons per day. This plant will serve pharmaceutical and chemical enterprises located within approximately 251 hectares of Class III industrial land in the park, treating both their pharmaceutical and chemical wastewater as well as domestic sewage. On February 6, 2023, China Air Separation successfully won the bid for this project and immediately commenced construction. On August 19, 2023, the construction of the upgraded Phoredox combined pond—a structure involving nearly 2,000 cubic meters of concrete—was completed in a single pour, marking the project’s full entry into the main construction phase. By April 10, 2024, the project had completed landscape greening and laid the asphalt base for roads; other construction tasks were also largely finished. On July 4, 2024, after one year and five months of high-quality, accelerated construction, the project successfully passed acceptance inspection.

Next, China Air Separation will continue to fully implement the nation’s “Dual Carbon” strategy, further strengthen the operation and maintenance management of wastewater treatment plants, and continuously enhance wastewater treatment capacity, thereby consistently contributing the strength of a central enterprise to creating a new ecological landscape for industrial parks and writing a new chapter in green development.
