On July 4, the company’s Discipline Inspection Commission held a collective integrity talk for newly promoted mid-level cadres, sounding an alarm, clarifying rules, and emphasizing responsibilities for these newly appointed officials. By delivering this crucial “first lesson” upon assuming their new posts, the event aims to deepen and effectively implement Party discipline education and the “Month of Integrity Promotion and Education.” Party Committee Member and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Sheng Jianbing, attended the meeting and delivered the collective integrity talk. Members of the company’s Discipline Inspection Commission, heads of the Discipline Inspection Office, and the newly promoted mid-level cadres also participated in the meeting.

The participants collectively studied the Constitution of the Communist Party of China. Newly appointed and promoted cadres, by leading the study of the Party Constitution’s content, further reinforced their understanding of the Constitution’s requirements, strengthened their sense of responsibility, and deepened their commitment to fulfilling their mission.

To help newly promoted officials take their first steps in their new roles successfully and to reinforce their responsibilities for practicing integrity in their work, exercising power with integrity, and cultivating self-discipline, the newly promoted officials jointly watched the short film on integrity titled “The First Button,” signed the “Commitment Letter on Integrity in Professional Conduct” and the “Commitment Letter on Preventing and Combating Commercial Bribery,” and took a knowledge test on integrity in professional conduct.

During a talk with newly promoted cadres, Liuchunlai, a member of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, emphasized: First, clearly understand your responsibilities and earnestly shoulder the mission and duty of the company’s development; second, stay within the boundaries and firmly establish a sense of discipline and integrity in your work.

During the group integrity talk, Jianbing Xiang requested:
First, we must prioritize politics and firmly keep integrity in our hearts.
Second, we must embrace our responsibilities and firmly shoulder them.
Third, we must uphold rules and firmly place discipline at the forefront.
Fourth, we must uphold integrity and resolutely strengthen and solidify our defensive barriers.
“While in our respective positions, we will firmly abide by national laws, party discipline and regulations, and the company’s rules and procedures…” Under the lead of the head of the Discipline Inspection Commission office, newly promoted cadres collectively took a solemn oath of duty, pledging to strive with loyalty, integrity, and a sense of responsibility for the company’s steady, sustainable, and high-quality development.

After the meeting, the newly promoted officials visited the Changhe Revolutionary History Memorial Hall—the base for integrity and cultural education in Hangzhou—on-site for an immersive learning experience. Through this hands-on, on-site education, the newly promoted officials unanimously expressed their commitment to further strengthening their resolve to practice integrity in their work. They pledged to strive with vigor and determination on their new journey, dare to think and act boldly, hold themselves strictly accountable, and set a leading example. In the tide of the company’s reform and development, they vowed to make their own contributions and realize their full potential.
