On the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Party, the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Zhejiang Province announced the results of the “Two Excellences and One Pioneer” commendation for state-owned enterprises in Zhejiang Province. The Party Branch of the Energy Company of China Air Separation Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Energy Company Party Branch”) was awarded the honorary title of “Advanced Grassroots Party Organization among State-owned Enterprises in Zhejiang Province.”
The Party branch of the energy company has actively explored innovative approaches to Party building under the new circumstances, fully leveraging the branch’s role as a fighting fortress. Guided by the twelve-character spirit of “daring to innovate, boldly tackling tough challenges, and creating high-quality work,” the branch has established the Party-building brand “Party Member Studio @ Vanguard Guardians,” thus forging a path of deep integration between Party building and production and operations.
Keep firmly in mind our original aspiration and shoulder our mission. The Party branch has delved deeply into studying Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implementing the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on goals such as “dual carbon,” green transformation of production models, and integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region. We have broken the long-term monopoly held by foreign companies in the industry and filled numerous previously uncharted gaps in China’s low-temperature storage and transportation sector. We promptly established the “Zero-Carbon Ammonia Energy” Party Member Innovation Studio, vigorously promoting R&D and engineering demonstrations in core technologies related to clean energy and carbon capture, and achieving remarkable breakthroughs in multiple areas within the field of urban LNG emergency peak-shaving projects.
Take the lead and make firm commitments. The Party branch has launched an evaluation system called the “Pioneer Index” for Party members, encouraging them to clearly articulate their commitments. The Rongtai Phase II project in Lianyungang is one of the largest key engineering projects our company has undertaken in recent years. Led by Party member workstations, Party members have risen to the challenge, tackled tough problems head-on, and achieved victory after victory in intensive battle campaigns, setting a new benchmark for petrochemical storage and transportation in the industry. This project has made significant contributions to boosting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region and has showcased the admirable image of “energy pioneers and guardians” in the new era.
Leading by example and striving for excellence in operations. The Party branch has vigorously promoted activities aimed at achieving outstanding performance in job roles. Party members have taken the lead in initiating “Party Member Innovation Projects,” established Party member pioneer teams and assault teams, and delved deeply into every corner and stage of production and operation. Over the past few years, the energy company has repeatedly set new records in both operational performance and project scale. In 2022, it successfully won the bid for the Rongtai Phase V project, setting a new high for the largest single contract amount signed in recent years. The Northern Henan and Eastern Henan LNG emergency reserve center projects respectively received the Gold Award for High-Quality Petroleum Engineering and the High-Quality Petroleum Engineering Award. Several large-scale EPC projects—including the Sierbang Project, the Rongtai Ethylene Unit II Project, and the Sinochem Lianyungang Project—have earned high praise from their clients. Among them, the Sinochem project was awarded the High-Quality Boutique Engineering Award by the China Chemical Construction Enterprises Association, continuously contributing air separation technology to “strengthening the strengths of Sinomach and serving the nation’s needs.”
