● Dajian Jidian Wind-Solar-to-Green-Hydrogen Ammonia Synthesis Project: 20,500 Nm³/h Nitrogen Generation Air Separation Unit
The Da’an Jidian Wind-Solar-Hydrogen-to-Ammonia Integrated Demonstration Project—a 20,500 Nm³/h nitrogen-generation air separation unit—has entered a critical construction phase. All major equipment—including liquid storage tanks, various gas buffer tanks, liquid nitrogen self-pressurizers, cold boxes, molecular sieve adsorbers, and air-cooled towers and water-cooled towers—has now been fully lifted into place. Once the project is operational, it will be capable of producing 32,000 tons of green hydrogen and 180,000 tons of green ammonia annually, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 6.5 million tons each year. This project will continue to contribute China National Machinery Industry Corporation’s strength toward accelerating the high-quality development of China’s hydrogen energy industry, advancing the achievement of the “dual carbon” goals, and speeding up the green transformation of production practices.
● EPC General Contracting Project for the 66,000 Nm³/h Air Separation Unit of the Southwest Copper Industry Oxygen Production Plant Relocation Project
The EPC general contracting project for the 66,000 Nm³/h air separation unit of the oxygen production plant relocation project undertaken by the Southwest Copper Branch of Yunnan Copper Industry Co., Ltd. commenced construction in June 2023. To date, most of the equipment foundations and individual building structures have been completed. The intelligent APC advanced control system and one-button start-up/shutdown functions are currently undergoing commissioning, and the backup system is now ready for operation. Upon completion, this project will help Yunnan Copper Industry achieve its strategic goal of a hundred-billion-yuan copper smelting industry. It also represents a key step in Yunnan Copper Industry’s transition to a green and low-carbon model, while further promoting the efficient and comprehensive utilization of resources, reducing production costs, and enhancing overall competitiveness.
● Lianyungang Rongtai Storage Tank Area Project (Phase V)
The Lianyungang Rongtai Storage Tank Area Project (Phase V) is located in the Xuyu New Area of Lianyungang, one of the nation’s seven major petrochemical industry bases. The project includes multiple cryogenic storage tanks with a wide variety of product categories. Installation of the inner tank wall panels for the cryogenic liquid ammonia storage tanks has been completed; the propane/butane storage tanks are now ready for water filling, and the ethylene/ethane storage tanks are currently undergoing water filling. Two liquid ammonia spherical tanks have already passed the hydrostatic pressure test, while two propane-butane spherical tanks are being filled with water. Construction of the ground flare tower has commenced, and the circulating water station is currently undergoing the “three inspections and four confirmations.” Pipelines in the utility corridor, underground pipelines, and electrical and instrumentation cable trays throughout the entire site are all under active construction. On-site construction is in full swing, fully demonstrating China Air Separation’s commitment to delivering high-quality projects.
● Vision Zero-Carbon Hydrogen-Ammonia Project (Phase I) – Low-Temperature Liquid Ammonia Storage Facility
The Phase I Low-Temperature Liquid Ammonia Storage Facility of the Vision Zero-Carbon Hydrogen-Ammonia Project includes a full-containment concrete tank for low-temperature liquid ammonia, a pressurization and reheating external delivery system, a BOG liquefaction and recovery system, and supporting utilities. Currently, the project is in the process of pouring the outer tank walls and lifting the dome structure. Upon completion, this facility will significantly reduce carbon emissions within the industrial park, helping to create a zero-carbon chemical park and accelerating the local development of a green industrial ecosystem.
● Jinhua Health Bio-Industry Park Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade and Connection Project—PCO General Contracting Project
The PCO general contracting project for the upgrade and connection works of the wastewater treatment plant in the Jinhua Health Bio-Industry Park serves pharmaceutical and chemical enterprises located within the park’s 251-hectare Class III industrial zone, treating the pharmaceutical and chemical wastewater generated by these enterprises. After more than a year of construction, all aspects of the project—including civil engineering, equipment and pipeline installation, landscape gardening, and interior decoration—have been completed. A brand-new, modern industrial wastewater treatment plant has now been successfully built, which will strongly promote the sustained green development of Jinhua’s health bio-industry.
● Pakistan’s Engro Company’s 28,000-ton-per-year (100% basis) hydrogen peroxide EP project
The 28,000-ton-per-year (in terms of 100% hydrogen peroxide) EP project undertaken by China Air Separation for Pakistan’s Engro Corporation is located within the Karachi Port Qasim area along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Currently, the sea transportation of project equipment has been fully completed, and the on-site commissioning services for low-voltage switchgear have been successfully concluded, providing a solid foundation for the installation and commissioning of other equipment. Once the project is completed and put into operation, it will continue to contribute China Air Separation’s expertise to advancing the country’s “Belt and Road” initiative and setting a model for China-Pakistan cooperation.
