To celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, further advance Party discipline study and education, and strengthen the building of learning-oriented Party organizations, on June 25, the company’s Party Committee organized a “Welcome July 1st, Strengthen Party Spirit, Unite Strength, and Promote Development” Study Strong Challenge Quiz Competition. Six teams representing the gas, energy, environmental, chemical, functional Party branches, and the trade union participated in the competition.
Athletes assemble, facing a brand-new competition format.
Before the competition began, all 30 contestants from the six participating teams had assembled and taken their positions, wearing uniform team uniforms and sporting gleaming Party badges. They were eager and ready to go—battle was about to erupt. This challenge tournament features a brand-new competition format, comprising four stages: “Rivalry Among Heroes,” “First-Mover Advantage,” “Adding the Finishing Touch,” and a written test on Party discipline knowledge. The first three stages are completed through quiz challenges and head-to-head duels on the “Study China” platform. The competition format is intricately linked and utterly captivating.
Passionate competition, with the battle reaching one thrilling climax after another.
At 12:30, as the competition began, the staff initiated a three-minute countdown, and the 12 contestants immediately entered competitive mode!
In the first round, contestants tackled the comprehensive question bank of the “Study China” platform’s challenge quiz, testing their accumulated knowledge from daily study. As they were making their debut, the contestants held their breath and focused intently, giving it their all. After a fiercely competitive showdown, the teams from the Labor Union and the Gas Division stood out, earning their teammates in the second round the right to independently select their category-specific question banks—a “first-mover advantage.”
In the second round, contestants tackled 12 categorized question pools covering current affairs and politics, laws and regulations, literary knowledge, history and culture, and general life常识. The eight contestants from the four teams currently ranked lower were randomly drawn by lot and immediately entered the intense competition of the second round. Based on their scores in the second round, the third round featured even fiercer head-to-head battles among teams specializing in Environment and Industry, Gases and Energy, and Chemicals and Functional Materials.
To further assess and consolidate the achievements of the Party discipline study and education, the fourth session featured a closed-book test on Party discipline knowledge. The test content centered around the newly revised "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China," comprehensively evaluating everyone’s grasp of Party discipline, Party rules, and disciplinary conduct, thereby ensuring that the Party discipline study and education is truly studied in depth, deeply understood, and firmly internalized.
The results are in—learning is a journey that never ends.
After four intense rounds of competition, the final scores and rankings of each team have been officially announced—The Workgroup, Energy, and Chemicals teams took the top three spots, while the Gas, Environmental, and Functional teams received excellence awards. The athletes’ outstanding performances were met with enthusiastic applause!

Sheng Jianbing, member of the company’s Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Chairman of the Trade Union, presented awards to the teams that won first, second, and third prizes.
This “Study Strong” challenge quiz has further boosted the enthusiasm and initiative of Party members in their learning, fostering a positive atmosphere characterized by "learning through competition and applying what is learned." It has strengthened Party members' Party spirit and cohesion, uniting them in a shared spirit of striving forward together. The Party Committee of the company will continue to promote the development of a learning-oriented Party organization, guiding all Party members to persistently maintain their commitment to learning, uphold the ethos of taking responsibility, being pragmatic, and maintaining integrity and uprightness, thereby accelerating the company’s transition to new-quality productivity and writing a new chapter of high-quality development!
