The Party Committee of China Air Separation held its third centralized study session for the Party Committee’s theoretical study group in 2024.

To deeply study and implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety, comprehensively coordinate safety and development, and effectively advance the company’s key tasks for the second half of the year, on June 12, the Party Committee of China Air Separation held its third centralized study session of 2024 for the Party Committee’s theoretical study group. The meeting was chaired by Lou Jiangning, Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee and Chairman of the Board, and attended by members of the Party Committee’s theoretical study group.
At the meeting, Shen Huxiang, Deputy General Manager of the company, conveyed and led the study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on work safety. The participants watched the promotional video “Work Safety: Responsibility on Our Shoulders,” and were urged to firmly establish the concept of safe development, strengthen bottom-line thinking, and earnestly and effectively carry out work safety efforts, thereby better balancing safety and development.
Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the company, Shang Jianbing, led the study of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions for Managers of State-Owned Enterprises," emphasizing that we must regard thoroughly and comprehensively studying Party discipline as an essential political task. By deeply understanding, firmly grasping, and earnestly putting these principles into practice, we can internalize compliance with rules and discipline into our daily conduct and behavior—without even consciously noticing it—thereby providing strong disciplinary guarantees for the company’s high-quality and sustainable development.
Focusing on the theme of safe development and centering on the annual goals and tasks, members of the central group conducted a scientific assessment of the current situation, built consensus on development, and exchanged their thoughts and suggestions on the company’s work for the second half of the year, each drawing on their respective areas of responsibility. Members of the central group emphasized that they should set an exemplary example, muster up their energy, go all out, and strive vigorously to ensure that key tasks are effectively implemented and yield tangible results.
Lou Jiangning emphasized the need to thoroughly implement the Party Central Committee’s and the Group’s various decisions and deployments, focus on the company’s high-quality development, firmly stick to the targets set at the beginning of the year, press ahead with determination under pressure, continue striving relentlessly and take the lead, and spare no effort to complete all work tasks.
Lou Jiangning put forward three points of advice regarding the company’s next steps:
First, we must firmly anchor ourselves to the annual targets and make every effort to achieve all planned objectives and tasks. We need to strengthen market development, build up a robust pipeline of projects, and enhance operational efficiency while maintaining stability. We must ensure the smooth and safe implementation of major projects, guaranteeing their efficient and secure execution. We should step up our efforts in scientific and technological innovation, bring technological breakthroughs to fruition, and develop “unique competitive advantages” for air separation, thereby providing strong support and driving force for business growth. Finally, we must continuously improve our internal management practices, achieving refined and highly efficient corporate governance, thus laying a solid foundation for the company’s high-quality development.
II. Strengthen the safety defense line and firmly uphold responsibilities for safe production. We must thoroughly study and implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on safe production, and meticulously carry out and enforce safety production responsibilities. We should intensify safety production learning and training, and step up publicity efforts for safety production work. We must firmly establish the safety philosophy that “hazards are accidents,” conduct comprehensive and ongoing hazard identification and remediation across all areas, and resolutely safeguard the bottom line of preventing any safety accidents.
Third, we must strengthen Party building leadership and carry out Party discipline study and education in a solid and thorough manner. We should integrate the study of the “Regulations on Disciplinary Actions for Managers of State-Owned Enterprises” throughout our work, continuously conduct cautionary education, and deepen the special campaign to improve work style. We must incorporate Party discipline study and education into daily routines and make it an ongoing priority, constantly enhancing the ability of Party members and cadres to resist corruption and stay free from degeneration. We must uphold the integration of Party building with business operations, continuously providing guidance and ensuring high-quality development of the company, and making Party building an effective driving force behind our core tasks.
