China Air Separation Promotes In-depth and Practical Study and Education on Party Discipline.

Since the launch of Party discipline study and education, the Party Committee of China Air Separation has carefully planned and deployed initiatives, steadily promoting the in-depth and practical implementation of Party discipline study and education, and achieving tangible results. This has comprehensively fostered a strong atmosphere of learning, understanding, clarifying, and upholding Party discipline, effectively translating the outcomes of Party discipline study and education into concrete achievements that drive high-quality development.

1. Conduct focused study and discussion to deepen understanding and thorough comprehension.

On May 20, the Party Committee of China Air Separation held a study and education reading class on Party discipline as well as the third theoretical study session of the 2024 Central Group. Members of the company’s Central Group listened via video to an important speech delivered by Yang Yongqing, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Sumida, and also Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Pufa. They also heard a special sharing session by Cao Jianhong, a member of the Sumida Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission. Combining this with their actual work, members of the leadership team engaged in study, sharing, and discussion on the contents of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations").

In his opening address, Lou Jiangning, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, emphasized that studying discipline is the foundation—only by studying can we truly understand and dare not transgress; clarifying discipline is the key—our words and actions must be guided by self-restraint and lead to positive conduct; and upholding discipline is the ultimate goal—each of us should set a good example for others and boldly take action. All Party members and cadres should take the Party discipline study and education as an opportunity to earnestly study discipline, accurately grasp its essence, consciously uphold it, and strictly abide by it. They should integrate the outcomes of Party discipline study and education with those of thematic education, thereby making even greater contributions to the company’s reform and development.

2. Optimize learning methods to ensure practical results and tangible outcomes.

To integrate Party discipline study and education into daily routines and make it a regular practice, the company’s Party Committee has launched a “Mobile Classroom” for Party discipline learning and education. Each week, it releases learning materials under the following categories: “[Sayings on Discipline],” “[Regulations on Discipline],” “[Case Studies to Highlight Discipline],” “[Learning from History to Uphold Discipline],” “[Q&A on Discipline],” and “[Short Videos on Party Discipline].” To date, a total of 17 sessions have been delivered over four weeks. In addition, the Party Committees at various branches have carefully organized thematic Party Day activities centered on studying the “Regulations,” actively participated in the China Pudong Development Bank’s Learning and Sharing Week, and led all Party members to engage in joint study, strictly abide by Party discipline, and promote integrity and a clean atmosphere.

Gas Party Branch

The Party branch for the gas sector has made comprehensive arrangements and launched a “combined approach” to studying Party discipline. Through leading study by branch committee members, promoting study within the branch, and encouraging in-depth, step-by-step learning of the Regulations among all members, Party members have also engaged in thorough discussions closely tied to their actual work, further strengthening their personal cultivation. As a result, ironclad discipline has become a daily habit and a conscious practice, enabling them to approach all tasks with a more pragmatic style and providing strong, solid disciplinary guarantees for the comprehensive development of the team.

Energy Party Branch

The Party branch for energy resources has effectively employed “innovative approaches” by incorporating short videos on Party discipline into its Party classes, thereby playing a powerful role in serving as a deterrent. The branch secretary took the lead in delivering an exemplary Party discipline class titled “Master and Effectively Apply the Regulations, Continuously Uphold Integrity and Discipline.” Using short videos on Party discipline—self-written, self-directed, and self-performed by Party members—as an engaging introduction, the branch has promoted a shift toward “interactive” disciplinary education, bringing Party discipline learning and education to life and encouraging Party members to consciously abide by rules and regulations.

Environmental Party Branch

The Party branch for environmental protection organized its members to watch the cautionary educational film “A Life on the Wrong Track.” The branch secretary took the lead in studying the “Regulations,” and party members actively shared their insights from the study. The branch also launched an activity titled “Cultivating Honest Family Traditions, Building Happy Families,” which centered around four “ones”—issuing a call-to-action letter, reading a good book, taking a photograph, and soliciting a motto—to promote the spirit of thrift and hard work in family life and to foster a positive, optimistic, and upright family culture.

Chemical Industry Party Branch

The secretary of the chemical industry Party branch delivered a disciplinary Party lesson to all party members of the branch, explaining the "Regulations" in detail. The secretary provided an in-depth overview of the background and significance behind the revisions, emphasizing that Party discipline is the lifeline of the Party and that party members must strictly enforce and uphold it. The branch also carefully designed a Party discipline examination paper to comprehensively assess party members' understanding and mastery of the content of the "Regulations," further deepening their comprehension and awareness of Party discipline and rules.

Functional Party Branch

The functional Party branch held a themed Party Day event titled “Explaining Discipline Through Cases: Youth Walk Together on the Path of Integrity.” Party member representatives analyzed typical cases of violations of discipline and law, shared their profound insights gained from studying the Regulations, and cautioned all Party members to take these cases as warnings and never cross the red line of discipline and law. Young representatives Hong Huiyang and Zhang Yue delivered a poetry recitation entitled “Integrity Is Like a Flower,” vividly showcasing the younger generation’s firm commitment to integrity and self-discipline, thus fostering a positive atmosphere in which Party members and League members alike embrace integrity, uphold clean conduct, and take pride in integrity and honesty.

Carrying out Party discipline study and education is an important measure for strengthening the Party’s disciplinary construction and promoting the in-depth development of comprehensive and strict governance over the Party. The Party Committee of China Air Separation will closely integrate this initiative with the company’s actual situation, further guiding all Party members to hold a sense of awe, exercise self-restraint in their words, and act with caution. We will firmly ensure that Party discipline study and education is deeply internalized, outwardly manifested in actions, and effectively translated into tangible results, thereby providing a strong guarantee for the company to accelerate the development of new-quality productivity.
