Recently, Gas Engineering Company successfully won the bid for the centralized nitrogen-generation project in Zones 10 and 12 of the Tahe Oilfield operated by Sinopec. This marks another collaboration between Gas Engineering Company and Sinopec, following their previous general contracting project for the centralized nitrogen-injection system (on-site facility) in the eastern old area of the Tahe Oilfield. Throughout this process, the two parties have continuously deepened their exchanges and communication. To ensure project success, Gas Engineering Company specifically established a Party-member task force dedicated to tackling tough challenges. With advanced design concepts, optimized solutions, and high-quality service standards, the company has earned the full trust and high recognition of its client, laying a solid foundation for winning this bid.

The centralized nitrogen production project for Blocks 10 and 12 of the Tahe Oilfield, located in Kuche County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, adopts China’s first large-scale centralized nitrogen-injection oil-enhancement technology. Utilizing deep-cold nitrogen production technology, the project is designed to produce 600,000 cubic meters of nitrogen per day with a purity as high as 99.99%. The project will fully implement the “Five Modernizations” construction philosophy, enhancing management throughout the entire lifecycle. Through comprehensive optimization and innovation—including site layout, process flows, corrosion prevention and water conservation, and digitalization and intelligent technologies—it will upgrade the standardized design of cryogenic centralized nitrogen production for oil and gas fields from Version 1.0 to Version 2.0, thereby enabling efficient, low-cost, and environmentally friendly reservoir development.

The project will also integrate multi-dimensional digital and intelligent technologies, leveraging cutting-edge IoT, automation, and artificial intelligence technologies to build a smart factory that operates fully automatically with unmanned supervision, setting a new benchmark for digital and intelligent development in the oil and gas industry.

Next, the Gas Engineering Company will fully leverage its EPC capabilities, unite team efforts, and give full play to the role of the Party member task force. We will strive to deliver high-quality projects, promote the efficient, rapid, and stable sustainable development of the oilfield, and contribute to the construction of a large-scale oil-and-gas field with production capacity reaching tens of millions of tons.
