Zhou Mingqin, a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee and Chief Accountant and Chief Auditor of China National Machinery Industry Corporation, conducted a research visit to China Air Separation.

On September 23, Zhou Mingqin, a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Chief Accountant, and Chief Auditor of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), led a team to China Air Separation for an inspection and guidance visit. Wang Weiling, Director of the Group’s Audit Department, and Wang Mowei, Deputy Director (in charge of daily operations) of the Finance Department, accompanied the visit. Lou Jiangning, General Manager of China Pudong Development Bank and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee as well as Party Secretary and Chairman of China Air Separation, chaired the symposium during the visit. Xu Shidong, a member of the Party Committee and CFO of China Pudong Development Bank, along with members of the leadership team and senior assistant-level officials of China Air Separation, also attended the meeting.
During the调研, Zhou Mingqin and his delegation first visited the company’s typical project sandbox to gain an understanding of the significant achievements made by the company’s landmark projects.
At the symposium, Lou Jiangning delivered a special report on the company’s development journey, business areas, scientific and technological R&D, production and operations, Party building work, and future development directions.
After listening to the briefing, Zhou Mingqin engaged in an in-depth exchange with the participants. Zhou Mingqin fully affirmed the achievements made by China Air Separation over the past four decades—its commitment to niche markets, its steadfast adherence to upholding core values while fostering innovation, its accelerated development of new-quality productivity, and its successful integration of Party building with production and operations. Zhou Mingqin noted that, in the face of challenges encountered during its development, China Air Separation has remained firmly guided by Party building, leveraged its technological and managerial strengths in specialized fields, and opened up a new horizon for growth. He emphasized that the company must continue to tackle tough problems head-on and strive to achieve even greater accomplishments.
To promote greater development of China’s air separation industry, Zhou Mingqin put forward four requirements:
First, we must elevate our political awareness and actively promote reform and development. We need to pay close attention to the overall trends in national development and industry changes, strengthen analysis and judgment, identify opportunities, seize them promptly, and keep pace with the nation’s strategic initiatives. By driving innovation and transformation in industries and mechanisms, we can help the company achieve its own transformative development.
Second, we must strengthen technological innovation and accelerate the development of new-quality productive forces. We should focus on our core responsibilities and main business, continuously enhance our technological advantages, diversify our business models, and bolster our operational capabilities. By constantly strengthening our core functions and improving our core competitiveness, we can speed up the formation of new-quality productive forces.
Third, we must strengthen financial control and comprehensively enhance the quality and efficiency of our operations. We need to continuously reinforce our financial control and operational analysis capabilities, strictly implement the target requirements set forth by the Group’s special task force for value enhancement, and consistently seek greater efficiency through improved management, market-oriented strategies, and innovation, thereby driving even more substantial results in our operational efforts.
Fourth, we must uphold Party building as the guiding force to boost enterprise production and operations. We must continue to leverage the leading role of Party building, thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, promote the deep integration of Party building with production and operations, and truly use high-quality Party building to drive the company’s high-quality development.
The meeting also included exchanges on topics such as corporate auditing, financial management, and the establishment of internal control systems.
