On September 23, Li Yonggang, Secretary of the LaiZhou Municipal Party Committee in Shandong Province, and his delegation visited China Air Separation. The visit focused on accelerating the construction of the China (LaiZhou) Bromine Chemical Industry Park and involved an in-depth discussion on the industrial planning for China’s specialty fine chemical industry park. Xu Xianghui, General Manager of the company, Lu Qi, Chief Engineer and General Manager of the Chemical Engineering Company, and other senior executives warmly welcomed Li Yonggang and his delegation. Also attending the meeting were Qiu Zhaoming, Vice Mayor of LaiZhou City; Sun Yongpeng, Director of the LaiZhou Investment Promotion Center; Yin Zhaozhong, Director of the LaiZhou Yinhai Chemical Industry Park Management Service Center; and representatives from relevant departments of the LaiZhou City government.

At the meeting, both sides first reviewed the current progress of the bromine chemical industry park, exchanged views on the existing layout and long-term plans for the specialty fine chemical industry park, and engaged in further discussions on policy adjustments and challenges encountered during project implementation. Together, they explored practical and feasible response strategies and measures.

Xu Xianghui stated that the specialty chemical industry park, as an important avenue for the company’s innovation and development, holds great significance for fostering new-quality productivity. China Air Separation will focus on high-quality development, fully leveraging the advantages of a central state-owned enterprise, and work closely with the Laiyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to jointly advance the construction of the park and ensure high-quality development across the entire industrial chain.

Li Yonggang stated that the Laizhou Municipal Government will continue to provide full support for the construction and development of the industrial park, offering high-quality services and solid guarantees to ensure that every stage of the project progresses efficiently and smoothly. At the same time, he expressed hope that both sides will actively engage in deeper and broader cooperation in the field of fine chemicals, working together to inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of the local economy.

The two sides also engaged in an in-depth exchange on the feasibility of establishing the Green Plant Protection Industrial Park in Laizhou, with the aim of further promoting the development of China’s specialized fine chemical industrial parks.

During this visit, Secretary Li Yonggang and his delegation not only consolidated and deepened the cooperation and exchange between China Air Separation and Laizhou City, but also opened a new chapter for bilateral collaboration. Looking ahead, both sides will join forces, innovate their cooperation models, and jointly draw up a new blueprint for building a specialized industrial park for fine chemicals in China, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the local economy.
