On October 28, accompanied by the golden autumn breeze, joyful news came from the shores of the Yellow Sea: the Lianyungang Rongtai Storage Tank Area Project (Phase V)—undertaken by China Air Separation—has successfully achieved high-standard handover, marking a significant milestone in the project’s construction and signaling its full transition into the pre-production commissioning and preparation phase. This achievement not only represents another successful implementation and transformation of the outcomes from the company’s extensive discussion on liberating thinking but also stands as yet another monumental accomplishment built upon the company’s core technological strengths and its wealth of experience in EPC general contracting projects.

On December 8, 2022, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the pile foundation project of two 120,000 m³ cryogenic concrete storage tanks.

On March 6, 2023, pile inspection of the foundation piles for two 120,000 m³ cryogenic concrete storage tanks.

On April 25, 2023, the foundation pouring for two 120,000 m³ cryogenic concrete storage tanks was completed.

On July 5, 2023, the domes of two 120,000 m³ cryogenic concrete storage tanks were lifted into place.

On September 18 and 27, 2023, the dome lifting of two 120,000 m³ cryogenic concrete storage tanks was completed.

On November 30, 2023, the dome pouring for two 120,000 m³ cryogenic concrete storage tanks was completed.

On April 19, 2024, the gas lifting of the 50,000 m³ cryogenic liquid ammonia storage tank was completed.

On July 30, 2024, the installation of the inner tank for the 50,000 m³ cryogenic liquid ammonia storage tank was completed.

On August 15, 2024, the filling of the 50,000 m³ cryogenic liquid ammonia storage tank was completed.

On October 28, 2024, the Lianyungang Rongtai Phase V project was successfully handed over.

With resounding footsteps, we continue to write a glorious chapter. Over the past two years—through spring breezes and summer rains, autumn frosts and winter snows—the project has been under construction since 2022. Throughout this journey, China Air Separation and the owner unit have tackled challenges head-on, fought side by side, established a red Party-building alliance, and solidified a stronghold of win-win cooperation! More than 700 sunsets and sunrises, with teams rising early and staying up late—every member of the project team has worked together with unwavering determination, relentlessly racing against time and firmly holding onto our battle positions! As the saying goes, “The long wind will eventually break the waves.” Thanks to the tireless efforts of all parties involved, the project has now achieved high-standard, high-quality handover. At the handover ceremony, the owner expressed high recognition and appreciation for the project team’s tenacious spirit of hard work, their commitment to creating value and delivering exceptional service, and the outstanding craftsmanship demonstrated throughout the project.

Moving forward, the project team will continue to uphold high standards and stringent requirements as it prepares for material feeding and trial runs, providing robust support for online commissioning and accelerating the project’s early production.
