Foreword: 2024 is a pivotal year for our company—a year in which we will seize opportunities, build momentum, and empower ourselves to catch up, surpass others, and accelerate high-quality development. The Party Committee of China Air Separation has launched the thematic campaign “Pioneers Lead by Example, Shining with Our Party Emblem on the Front Lines.” Each party branch is using initiatives such as “Project Led by Branch Secretaries” and “Innovative Projects by Party Members” as platforms to further strengthen the resolve and confidence of our Party members—“We must strive for the highest honors, compete for leadership, overcome all difficulties, and emerge victorious in every battle”—and to charge forward at the front lines, fighting bravely in the vanguard!

In April, the Party-building joint task force for the upgrading and connection project of the wastewater treatment plant at the Jinhua Health Bio-Industry Park once again assembled on-site at the project’s front lines! Focusing on a three-pronged approach—safety, quality, and standardization—the task force is thoroughly diagnosing and assessing the project, striving for efficiency and continuous improvement. They are determined to win the tough battle for comprehensive completion and acceptance, and are fully committed to building a model, exemplary environmental protection project.
1. Overcoming Difficulties and Securing a Decisive Finish

To ensure the smooth completion of the project, in February of this year, the Party branch of the Environmental Company joined forces with the Party branch of Jinhua Jin Kai Cultural & Tourism to hold a “80-Day Intensive Battle and Final Sprint Mobilization Meeting,” fully sounding the battle cry for the decisive final stage of the project! Party members took the lead in charging forward, and all team members worked together with one heart, putting in extra hours and enduring tough conditions! Since the site features yellow clay soil, which becomes even stickier after being soaked by rainwater, the task force had to wade through muddy waters almost every day, braving the rain to carry out their work. They overcame the significant challenges posed by rainy weather to the finishing stages of the project, including landscape greening and other related tasks.
On April 10, the project completed landscape greening and poured the asphalt base for the roads. Other construction tasks have also been largely finished, and this modern industrial wastewater treatment plant has now taken on its initial scale.
2. Multiple-party inspection—fully affirmed

Meanwhile, in April, the project also underwent a joint inspection involving multiple parties. Chen Qiming, Secretary of the Jinhua City Construction Industry Association, led an expert panel to conduct a comprehensive inspection and acceptance of the project’s standardized construction site conditions. The head of the construction entity convened representatives from all participating units—including the project’s agent constructor, designer, supervisor, follow-up auditor, and contractor—to carry out a joint inspection.
After careful and thorough on-site inspections, the expert panel and inspection team fully affirmed the achievements of the project construction, highly praised the project’s outcomes, and also offered valuable suggestions and recommendations. Comrade Chen Shiyuan, Deputy General Manager of the Environmental Company and Project Manager, delivered a report on the benchmark-setting efforts, stating that the company will complete the project construction to the highest standards and with the highest quality, resolutely win the tough battle of this project, and comprehensively build a model environmental protection project.
3. Highly recognized—The project has received praise.

On April 16, Wang Jianzhong, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Jinhua Development Zone, visited the project site for an on-site inspection. He examined the construction progress firsthand, gained a detailed understanding of the project’s status, and expressed his appreciation for the quality of construction and the management of the project. He pointed out that the wastewater treatment plant represents the final safeguard for ecological and environmental protection. It is essential to scientifically develop rectification plans and accelerate efforts to address shortcomings in sewage collection and treatment facilities, ensuring that these facilities truly deliver effective results and driving greater achievements in ecological and environmental protection efforts in the Jinxi area.
Next, the joint Party-building task force will continue its efforts, promptly addressing the comments and suggestions made by the inspection team, closing each issue one by one, and striving to complete the project’s final acceptance inspection and start production as soon as possible before the end of April. This way, we can deliver a satisfactory environmental performance that enhances wastewater treatment in the park and contribute to preserving Jinhua’s clear waters and lush mountains.
Project Link: The Jinhua Health Bio-Industry Park Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade and Connection Project includes the construction of a new industrial wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 18,000 tons per day, as well as the establishment of a wastewater collection network for pharmaceutical and chemical enterprises located within the park’s 251-hectare Class III industrial zone.
