In early March of the Yangchun season, flowers bloom in profusion across the land. As we approach the 115th International Women’s Day on March 8, in order to further enrich the cultural lives of female employees at the company and highlight the unique charm and elegance of women workers in the new era, the China Air Separation Union recently launched a series of “March 8 Women’s Day” activities under the theme “Her Power, Her Own Light,” drawing enthusiastic participation from numerous female employees across the company.

Part 1: Youthful Years Worthy of Blood Donation, Passionate Hearts Forging a Commitment to Public Service
On March 3, female employees enthusiastically participated in the Lei Feng-inspired voluntary blood donation drive. These remarkable women prove that they are every bit as capable and courageous as their male counterparts—charging ahead at work without shying away from challenges and rolling up their sleeves to show their love through blood donation. The “air separation goddesses” demonstrate the responsibility and charm of women in the new era with their passionate spirit and tender compassion, thus promoting the spirit of great love.
Part 2: Love and Protection—“Heimlich Maneuver” Emergency First-Aid Training: “Saving Lives Starts Right Here”
On March 6, to comprehensively promote first-aid knowledge and skills, the company specially invited Yang Xiuren, an expert from the Medical Quality Department of Zhejiang Province, to conduct an emergency training session on the Heimlich maneuver. Combining real-life case studies with on-site demonstrations of emergency rescue scenarios, Yang Xiuren vividly explained the principles and practical application of the Heimlich maneuver to the female employees. Through this training, the female employees not only mastered the correct techniques for providing emergency first aid but also gained a profound appreciation for the preciousness of life and the importance and necessity of acquiring first-aid skills, thereby enhancing their ability to provide timely and effective emergency care when faced with everyday emergencies.
Part 3: Handcrafted Romance—Encountering Your One-of-a-Kind Self
On March 6, the female employees of the air separation division gathered for a romantic feast of delicate craftsmanship, kicking off a hands-on workshop featuring cloisonné enamel, intangible cultural heritage mother-of-pearl inlay, and embossed-lamp crafting. At the start of the event, a professional instructor explained the techniques and production process of cloisonné enamel—starting from drawing the initial design sketch, bending copper wires into intricate shapes, and finally filling the compartments with enamel glaze. Each step showcased both skill and artistic flair. Meanwhile, during the creation of mother-of-pearl brooches and embossed lamps, the female employees fully expressed their artistic talents on thin mother-of-pearl slices and lampshade canvases, unleashing a unique beauty and romantic charm.
The female employees showcased their creativity in the design process, and when encountering challenges, they exchanged ideas with one another or sought guidance from their teacher. The atmosphere at the scene was lively and engaging. Several hours later, exquisite pieces began to take shape—ordinary materials had been transformed into unique works of art. Through this hands-on crafting activity, the female employees not only demonstrated their distinctive artistic creativity but also strengthened their communication and camaraderie through interactive collaboration.
