2025 marks the 20th anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important proposition that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.” To deepen our study and implementation of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Ecological Civilization and jointly build a beautiful China, on June 5—the 54th “World Environment Day”—employees from China Air Separation Corporation visited the Zhejiang host venue of the 2025 “6.5 Environmental Day” event, the “Environmental Protection Technology Expo.” There, they toured and learned about the innovative applications of cutting-edge technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence in the field of ecological environment, thereby accumulating wisdom and strength to promote the company’s high-quality and green development.

This event, themed “I Take the Lead in Building a Beautiful China,” is hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment and the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government, and organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Center for Ecological and Environmental Publicity and Education, the Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, and the People’s Government of Binjiang District, Hangzhou. At the invitation of the Zhejiang Environmental Protection Industry Association, personnel from China Air Separation Environmental Engineering and other business divisions as well as various functional departments participated in the event.
Visit and Learn, Explore the Cutting Edge
During the event, Chinese air separation industry employees learned about cutting-edge technologies in the field of ecological environment and visited specialized, sophisticated, and innovative enterprises in Zhejiang Province, as well as eco-friendly products and services. By touring the on-site exhibitions of more than 30 technology companies—including Hikvision, New H3C, and Jiguang Technology—that focus on digitalization and intelligent solutions for the ecological environment sector, and through direct interactions with staff members, participants gained a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of areas such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, carbon neutrality, waste and wastewater treatment, low-carbon digitalization of buildings, and monitoring equipment.
For a long time, China Air Separation has consistently upheld the responsibilities of a central state-owned enterprise, practiced the concept of green development, and continuously cultivated and innovated in the field of environmental engineering.
