Driven by the powerful synergy of “original technological innovation + robust engineering implementation capabilities,” they are jointly crafting an ambitious blueprint for the application of liquid air energy storage technology and steering together toward a green, low-carbon future.

On March 25, in Hangzhou—a city brimming with innovative vitality—a grand event focused on cutting-edge technologies driving the energy revolution kicked off! China Air Separation Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as “China Air Separation”) and Jiangsu Jinhé Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Jinhé Energy”) solemnly held a strategic conference on liquefied air energy storage and successfully signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This strategic partnership marks a solid step forward for both parties in the field of liquefied air energy storage, accelerating innovative breakthroughs in this technology and injecting powerful momentum into the global energy revolution.

This conference brought together leaders and experts from numerous research institutions, universities, and industry companies both at home and abroad. Among the attendees were Ding Yulong, Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK and Director of the Energy Storage Research Center at the University of Birmingham; Yu Zhenhua, Executive Vice Chairman of the Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance; Ren Ai, Chairman of Jinhé Energy; Chen Jiuliang, General Manager of Jinhé Energy; Jin Yi, Technical Director of Jinhé Energy; Lou Jiangning, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Pudong Development Bank; Xu Xianghui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Air Separation; Li Jijie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Air Separation; Zhang Xingdong, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Air Separation; and Shang Jianbing, Member of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union of China Air Separation. At the same time, Academician Ding highly praised the collaboration between China Air Separation and Jinhé Energy in the field of liquid-air energy storage. Yu Zhenhua, Executive Vice Chairman of the Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance, delivered a presentation titled “The Current Status and Prospects of China’s New Energy Storage Industry.” He pointed out that installed capacity for new energy storage has reached a new high, raising great expectations for the future development of the energy storage industry.
