“Go Out” to Learn + “Settle Down” to Reflect: China Air Separation’s 2025 Training for Party Affairs Cadres Comes to a Close!

Strengthen the foundation and consolidate the basics; use learning to drive action. Recently, the special training for Party affairs cadres of China Air Separation for 2025 came to a successful conclusion. Members of all Party branch committees, the Party Committee Office, and the Discipline Inspection Commission Office participated in the training. This training employed new approaches and methods, adopting... “Go out, settle down, and learn deeply.” The on-site learning and practice model encourages all Party affairs cadres to step out of the conference hall and into real-world settings. The training covers a variety of activities, including visits to benchmark projects, specialized lectures, interactive exchanges and sharing sessions, education on red and integrity culture, and AI-based experiential learning. This approach ensures that the training is both “innovative” and deeply meaningful, breaking ideological barriers and providing powerful motivation and empowerment. It injects new momentum into building a high-quality team of Party affairs cadres within the company, revitalizes Party building work, and ignites a “new engine” for the company’s innovative development.

1. Kick-off mobilization—setting the direction and raising the banner

Xu Xianghui, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, delivered an opening mobilization speech. The meeting was chaired by Shang Jianbing, a member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission. Xu Xianghui expressed full recognition of the work achievements of all Party affairs officials and encouraged them to cherish this training opportunity, truly gain valuable insights from it, and put what they learn into practice. He urged them to contribute their wisdom and strength to enhancing the value and effectiveness of the company’s Party building efforts and to inject new momentum into the company’s high-quality development. He also put forward four hopes and requirements:

2. Project-based learning, diving deep into the front lines

The “classroom” has been moved to the field, and practical training has been integrated into the frontline. For the first time, the company has organized Party affairs officials to visit project sites firsthand. To take over the company's project On-site visit to the benchmark environmental protection projects—the wastewater treatment plant project and the smart platform project of the Jinhua Healthy Bio-Industry Park. During this field study, we gained an in-depth understanding of exemplary water treatment projects, advanced technologies, and the practical applications of smart platform management. This training session, featuring specialized lectures, is being held in Yanggang Village, Lanxi—the site of Zhejiang Province’s first batch of “Future Villages” and a Five-Star Party Branch—marking the start of an enriching and highly practical “Soul-Building” journey that will broaden the horizons of Party affairs officials and introduce them to new approaches and practices.

At the Yanggang Village Red Education Base, Party officials conducted in-depth visits to the women’s militia base and other sites. Party officials also visited Turing Town—the high ground for innovative development of the artificial intelligence industry that Hangzhou’s Xiaoshan District is vigorously cultivating—and delved into the Yangtze River Delta Integrated AI Experience Center. There, they immersed themselves in a hands-on exploration, gaining firsthand insights into and experiencing the latest technological applications and industrial achievements of AI. At the same time, this visit signaled the company’s commitment to focusing on AI and embracing artificial intelligence, thereby driving the integration and enhancement of AI technologies with the company’s business operations.

5. Closing Remarks: Embrace a New Chapter with Determination

Jian Bing made a concluding speech and put forward four requirements for strengthening Party building work in the next phase:

Gas Party Branch, Ai Bing: This training marked my first-ever session as a newly appointed branch committee member—truly a journey that’s both “new” and deeply “heartfelt”! My personal competence and expertise in Party affairs have been greatly enhanced. I’ve gained a clearer understanding of the key stages and procedures involved in developing Party members, learned how to create short videos, and improved the quality and effectiveness of our Party-building work. The on-site learning experiences—from the frontlines of the Jinhua project, to the red and integrity-based cultural education in Yanggang Village, and to the AI-themed tour of Turing Town—all conducted through immersive, hands-on teaching—will inspire me to harness the energy of youth and inject “new momentum” into the company’s development.

Energy Party Branch, Lin Huangcheng: This is both a mental recharge and a breakthrough in thinking! On the front lines of the project, we’ve explored the practical results of the “Two Mountains” philosophy, visited smart applications, and experienced firsthand the empowering force of technology. In the training classroom, we’ve organized and refined our knowledge of Party affairs, solidifying our foundational understanding. Through exchanges and interactions, we’ve learned from the practices of other party branches, broadening our perspectives! As a newly appointed branch committee member, I’m intensifying my learning and communication, using innovative approaches to break through work bottlenecks and drive business development forward.

Environmental Party Branch, Zhao Chongqi: The specialized training was truly rewarding! The course was practical and comprehensive—from studying the Party’s theoretical knowledge and interpreting the “Party Building Calendar” to sharing experiences in Party building work—systematically enhancing my understanding of Party building in the new era. The course on developing Party members helped me grasp the standards and procedures throughout the entire process. And the short-video traffic management course broke through traditional promotional models. This is also where I’ve been involved in the Party member innovation project, allowing me to truly feel the powerful synergy between Party building and business operations. The specialized training zeroes in on key pain points, covering topics such as plan interpretation, new-media promotion techniques, and even special case studies involving member-development courses. Participants come with questions and leave with actionable solutions. This training, imbued with the earthy aroma of real-world experience, is sure to inject fresh vitality into Party building work.
