(hereinafter referred to as Nanjing Hongchuan) specially presented a banner to China Air Separation Engineering Co., Ltd., expressing its sincerest gratitude for the company’s high-quality and efficient completion of the second-phase cryogenic ethylene storage tank overhaul project at Nanjing Hongchuan. During the concise and warm flag-awarding ceremony, leaders from both sides engaged in a cordial exchange. Zou Qinglong, Assistant to the Chairman of Hongchuan Wisdom and General Manager of East China Operations, began by expressing heartfelt gratitude to the China Air Separation team. He pointed out that China Air Separation has always upheld the spirit of craftsmanship, investing tremendous effort into the inspection, modification, and renovation of the project. Despite the tight schedule, the China Air Separation team delivered an outstanding performance thanks to their exceptional execution capabilities and strong sense of responsibility.
Xu Xianghui, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, solemnly accepted the banner and stated: “This banner embodies Nanjing Hongchuan’s full trust and recognition of China Air Separation. The successful completion of the project would not have been possible without the close cooperation between the teams of both sides. We hope that both parties will continue to work hand in hand, writing a remarkable chapter of cooperation through professionalism and mutual trust, and contributing to the low-temperature petrochemical storage and transportation industry.”
Looking back on the collaborative journey from the construction of Phase I to the maintenance of Phase II, moving scenes come vividly to mind. Li Jijie, Deputy Secretary of the company’s Party Committee and General Manager, stated: “Since our partnership began with Phase I in 2006, China Air Separation has forged an inseparable bond with Nanjing Hongchuan. This trust, which has endured for nearly 20 years, is the greatest recognition for China Air Separation. We are deeply grateful for the trust Nanjing Hongchuan has consistently placed in us.”
Gu Jianxin, General Manager of Nanjing Hongchuan, stated: “Time is the best witness. Over the years, these two sets of equipment have consistently operated safely and reliably, and China Air Separation’s track record has demonstrated its technological prowess and service quality.”

Behind the banner lies the collective dedication and hard work of the entire project team. Since the project’s launch in November 2024, in response to the urgent demands of peak production, the Chinese air separation equipment tank maintenance team has worked closely with Nanjing Hongchuan, meticulously planning the workflow and overcoming challenges such as tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
In just four months, the team has completed a total of 11 critical upgrades and eliminated 9 potential hazards. Not only have they achieved the safety goal of “zero accidents,” but they’ve also delivered the project 15 days ahead of schedule, leaving ample time for ethylene vessels to safely dock. This has laid a solid foundation for the steady enhancement of Nanjing Hongchuan’s storage and transportation capacity.
Today, bathed in the warm sunshine of spring, the brand-new storage tank gleams brilliantly, serving as a vivid testament to the fruits of our collaboration.
