On the afternoon of October 27, Chen Feng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Sumeda Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sumeda”), visited China Air Separation for a research visit. Jia Yu, General Manager of Sumeda’s Human Resources Department (including the Party Committee Organization Department and Daren Academy), accompanied him on the visit.

Chen Feng and his delegation first visited the model of China’s air separation engineering project and gained an understanding of the operational principles of typical equipment in each business segment.

Xu Xianghui, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, chaired the research and exchange meeting and provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s development journey, business segment orientations, strategic layout for scientific research, recent operational performance, as well as work related to Party building, corporate culture, and disciplinary inspection and supervision. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions across multiple dimensions, including China’s air separation industry’s reform and development, operational management, and Party-building culture.

After listening to the report, Chen Feng fully affirmed China Air Separation’s remarkable achievements over the past four decades in establishing a strong foothold in its niche market, as well as its significant progress in integrating Party building with core business operations. He then put forward six key requirements for China Air Separation’s next stage of development.
First, we must focus on our core responsibilities and fully promote high-quality development. Strengthen and optimize our core businesses, continuously advance toward specialization, refinement, uniqueness, and innovation, and build core competitive advantages. Integrate into the broader national development strategy and promote the optimization of industrial structure.
Second, we must thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee and ensure high-quality preparation of the “15th Five-Year Plan.” Taking the thorough study and implementation of the spirit of the plenary session as a major political task for the present and the period ahead, we will comprehensively summarize the highlights and valuable experiences from the 14th Five-Year Plan and carefully devise a blueprint for the future.
Third, we must uphold Party building as the guiding principle and promote the integration of organizational development and culture. Leverage Party building to rally collaborative momentum for development and promote the deep integration of Party building with production and operations. Strengthen corporate culture development and drive the practical implementation of Sumida’s cultural integration.
Fourth, we must strengthen the building of work style and Party integrity, and promote the normalization and long-term effectiveness of implementing the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation. Consolidate the achievements of study and education, strengthen sense of responsibility and commitment, and foster a political environment characterized by integrity and uprightness.
Fifth, we must strengthen the building of the leadership team and enhance the development of the cadre and talent pool. Earnestly study and implement all the requirements of the Sumeda Cadre and Talent Conference, and build a strong leadership team as well as a cadre and talent pool capable of achieving victory.
Sixth, we must coordinate development and security and strengthen bottom-line thinking. Strengthen safety production, compliant operations, and risk management; firmly establish a bottom-line mindset and awareness of red lines at every stage of production and operation, thereby solidifying the foundation for the company’s stable development.
Relevant personnel from the Party Committee Office of Sumeda, members of the leadership team of China Air Separation, and senior assistant-level cadres participated in the research visit.
