On March 25, Zhang Xiaolun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China National Machinery Industry Corporation, led a delegation to CNASEC Engineering Co., Ltd. to oversee the implementation of study and education on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, to conduct a field survey on the formulation of the company’s 14th Five-Year Plan and its operational performance, and to solicit opinions and suggestions from grassroots cadres and employees. Shen Ruihong, a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Group, also participated in the inspection.
Zhang Xiaolun emphasized the need to steadfastly use high-quality Party building to drive high-quality development, regarding the earnest and thorough study and education on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements as a crucial political task. It is imperative to firmly assign and enforce responsibilities, deeply study and fully grasp the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on this issue, integrate learning, inspection, and rectification, continuously enhance political competence, and effectively translate the outcomes of this study and education into a powerful driving force and concrete practices for promoting the enterprise’s high-quality development, while maintaining a vigorous spirit of down-to-earth, pragmatic work and fostering a sound and upright development environment.
Zhang Xiaolun urged that the 15th Five-Year Plan be meticulously and high-qualityly formulated, that the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of central enterprises be resolutely implemented, that we keep our duties and mission firmly in mind, grasp the overall situation and major trends, focus on our primary responsibilities and core businesses, seize development opportunities, and maintain strong confidence in development. The goals should be both ambitious and realistic, with a clear focus on the directions of intelligentization, green development, and integrated development. We must vigorously promote the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, accelerate digital and intelligent transformation and international operations, deepen reform to unleash vitality, strengthen collaboration to enhance value-creation capabilities, continuously reinforce our core functions and improve our core competitiveness, and step up to the plate in advancing new-type industrialization.
Zhang Xiaolun emphasized that this year marks the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and that it is imperative to conscientiously implement the arrangements made at the Group’s series of important meetings, make all-out efforts to ensure the effective execution and delivery of key tasks, rigorously uphold workplace safety, consolidate and enhance the momentum of development toward new initiatives, higher quality, and improved performance, strive for a strong start in the first quarter, and thereby secure a solid launch and steady progress for the 15th Five-Year Plan.
Key officials from the Office of China National Machinery Industry Corporation, the Party and Mass Work Department, the Strategic Development Department, and the Operations Management Department attended the research visit. Members of the leadership team of CNASEC and heads of relevant departments also participated.
