The spring breeze gently caresses the tea ceremony setting, as women shine with their radiant beauty. On the eve of the 116th International Women’s Day, in order to enrich the spiritual and cultural lives of female employees and convey the warm care of the trade union—as their “family”—on the afternoon of March 6, the CNASEC Trade Union organized all its female members to visit Longwu Tea Village in Hangzhou’s West Lake District for a themed event titled “Spring Blossoms: Celebrating Beauty Together,” where they came together to celebrate this special occasion amid natural wellness and the refined charm of everyday life.
The Longwu Tea Plantations stretch endlessly, their lush greenery blending seamlessly with the sky, creating a breathtakingly picturesque landscape often dubbed a “natural oxygen bar.” It’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city—a serene haven for a rejuvenating spring hike. On the day of the event, the female employees ascended the tea mountain trails step by step, surrounded by rolling green hills and winding tea paths. The crisp mountain breeze carried a delicate aroma of tea, allowing everyone to leave behind the fatigue of work and fully savor the beauty of nature.
Along the way, everyone traveled together, pausing now and then to take in the stunning scenery of the Longjing Tea Mountains and the trendy “internet-famous” streets, gazing out at the picturesque lakes and mountains surrounding the Guangming Temple Reservoir, and enthusiastically gathering wild vegetables by the roadside. Laughter and cheerful chatter echoed long and loud through the tea hills, vividly showcasing the spirit of unity, determination, and optimism that defines these remarkable women.
As the hike came to a close, the cozy tea-boiling session by the hearth brought the atmosphere to a delightful climax. The tea ceremony was set up at the foot of the tea hills, where embers glowed softly in the charcoal fire, the kettle bubbled merrily, and the delicate aroma of warming tea slowly wafted through the air. Everyone gathered around, the smoky, earthy scents of roasted mandarins and shelled peanuts mingling with the fragrant steam of tea. As they savored this seasonal spring indulgence, they shared stories about their work and the little joys of daily life. The union extended heartfelt wishes to each female employee, creating an atmosphere of warmth and deep camaraderie.
This event seamlessly integrated outdoor wellness and tea-culture experiences with heartfelt exchanges, providing female employees with a much-needed respite from their busy schedules while fostering a platform for communication and collaboration, thereby strengthening their sense of belonging and team cohesion. Participants unanimously expressed their commitment to channeling the vitality and warmth they gained into their work, approaching their roles with renewed enthusiasm and a spirited attitude to achieve outstanding results and contribute the wisdom and strength of women to the company’s high-quality, sustainable development.
