Youth Leads the Way, Strengthening Enterprises with My Contribution | The General Branch of the China Air Separation Group Held a Youth League Congress Commemorating the May Fourth Youth Day

On May 15, the Youth League General Branch of CNASEC. convened a themed Youth League Congress titled “Youth Leads the Way—I Will Strengthen the Enterprise,” aiming to forge a shared ideological consensus among young members, rally their youthful drive, and inspire all League members and young employees to carry forward the red legacy, shoulder the mission of the times, and write a glorious chapter of youthful dedication on the company’s new journey toward high-quality development. Xu Xianghui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board; Zhou Lijun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; and Shang Jianbing, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, attended the congress, which was joined by all League members and young employees.
Youth Representatives Speak, Sharing Reflections on Their Struggles and Aspirations
Lu Yijun, Secretary of the Youth League General Branch, chaired the meeting. During the session, three young employee representatives—Wang Yulong, an outstanding Communist Youth League member from China National Machinery Industry Corporation; Fu Lu, an exemplary Youth League cadre at Sumida; and Cen Zhenqi, a young member who has since left the League—each delivered remarks. Drawing on their experiences in frontline project work, technical problem‑solving, and other roles, they shared their reflections on perseverance and responsibility, vividly embodying the down-to-earth, pragmatic spirit of the air‑separation industry’s youth.
May Fourth Advanced Commendation: Setting a Benchmark for Youth
Zhou Lijun, Deputy Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee, read out the list of recipients of the May Fourth Commendation. Company leaders presented awards on the spot to outstanding Youth League members and young representatives, recognizing exemplary role models and setting benchmarks for youth. They called on all Youth League members and young employees to benchmark against these role models, emulate their virtues, draw inspiration from their achievements, and strive to excel in their respective posts.

At the meeting, CNASEC’s first youth‑focused learning brand, “Qing Kong: Reading Ten Thousand Miles,” was officially launched. Centered on young employees and anchored in the company, the brand embodies the spirit of “reading countless books and traveling far” to jointly build a bright future for the enterprise. The company’s Youth League General Branch has taken “read one book, master one skill, carry forward one tradition, and make one friend” as its guiding principle, establishing a cross‑departmental platform for youth learning and exchange. At the meeting, the first batch of recommended reading lists for leading cadres was unveiled, covering such diverse areas as Party history and ideological conviction, science and technology trends, self‑management, and integrity and self‑discipline, thereby providing all‑round support for the growth and development of young professionals. Xu Xianghui and Shang Jianbing each presented recommended books and pocket guides on integrity to youth representatives, urging young employees to cultivate a lifelong habit of reading, deepen their professional expertise, and firmly uphold the bottom line of廉洁 conduct.

Finally, Xu Xianghui delivered a briefing on the current situation titled “Uphold the Red Legacy, Shoulder the Mission of Our Times, and Write a Brilliant Chapter of Struggle for Air Separation Youth on the New Journey.” Centered around the three key themes of forging conviction, breaking new ground, and pursuing practical action, the report guided young members through a retrospective of the company’s 45-year journey of dedication, offered an in-depth analysis of the opportunities and challenges it currently faces, and articulated high expectations for the growth of its youth.
Taking “forging the soul” as our foundation, we must carry forward the spirit of struggle and keep youth on the right course. We must always heed the Party’s call and follow its lead. Uphold and put into practice a correct view of political achievements, carry forward the spirit of striving, shoulder the responsibility of revitalizing the enterprise, and integrate personal growth into the broader goals of corporate development and national development.
With “breaking the deadlock” as our guiding principle, we must clearly understand the current situation and shoulder the mission of youth. We need to accurately seize the opportunities for intelligentization, green development, and high-end transformation during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, squarely confront challenges such as expanding emerging businesses and tackling technological bottlenecks, and resolutely dismantle the three ideological shackles of complacency, fear of incompetence, and isolationist conservatism.
Rooted in pragmatism, we should tackle tough challenges at our posts and write a glorious chapter of youth. We must dare to shoulder responsibilities and act with determination, becoming pragmatic problem-solvers who overcome obstacles; we should keep long-term development in mind, dedicating ourselves to sustained efforts; and we must cultivate moral integrity and self-discipline, becoming individuals of clear judgment and upright conduct.
The convening of this conference coincides with the inaugural year of the 15th Five-Year Plan and the 45th anniversary of the company’s founding, serving both as a profound ideological awakening for all League members and young people and as a rallying call to guide and inspire them to carry forward the struggle.
The Company’s Youth League General Branch will steadfastly uphold the Party’s correct leadership, wholeheartedly create platforms and opportunities for young League members, and guide them in firmly establishing and practicing a sound view of political achievements. It will carry forward the spirit of striving, shoulder the mission of strengthening the enterprise, and devote itself fully to the implementation of all key tasks outlined in the Company’s 15th Five-Year Plan, thereby contributing youthful wisdom and energy to the enterprise’s high-quality, sustainable development.
