The Party Committee of CNASEC Holds the 2025 Accountability and Evaluation Meeting on Party Building for Party Member Leading Cadres

To thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, further enforce the requirement of exercising full and rigorous self-governance over the Party, and strengthen the responsibility of Party member leading cadres for Party building work, in accordance with the arrangements and requirements of the Party Committee of Sumida Corporation and the Company Party Committee, the Company Party Committee convened a meeting on January 28 to hear reports on Party building work from Party member leading cadres and conduct an evaluation thereof. Party member leading cadres of the company and relevant heads of the Party Committee’s functional departments attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Xu Xianghui, Secretary of the Company Party Committee and Chairman of the Board.
Leading Party members and cadres of the company conducted performance reports on their Party-building duties for 2025, focusing on four key areas: “strengthening theoretical education and thoroughly studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era”; “enhancing organizational capacity and continuously bolstering the political and organizational functions of primary-level Party organizations”; “building a strong contingent of Party members and motivating them to exemplify and lead in their respective posts”; and “improving the mechanism for ensuring accountability and conscientiously fulfilling duties and responsibilities.” Prior to the meeting, these leaders consciously elevated their ideological awareness, attached great importance to the reporting session, meticulously prepared their performance reports, conducted in-depth self-assessments to identify problems and analyze their root causes, and proposed targeted corrective measures, thereby further reinforcing the implementation of Party-building responsibilities.
Xu Xianghui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company, provided a detailed evaluation of the performance of the company’s Party-member leading cadres in their Party-building duties over the past year, and put forward four requirements for further implementing the Party-building responsibility system and enhancing the ability of Party-member leading cadres to fulfill their “dual responsibilities” in their respective posts:
First, we must uphold the Party’s overall leadership and forge a solid political foundation. We need to strengthen political guidance, consolidate our ideological underpinnings, and ensure that all our work stays on the right track. At the same time, we must enhance integrated planning, enforce accountability for Party building, and precisely deploy key annual Party-building tasks, thereby consolidating the foundations and forging the soul of the company’s reform and development, and rallying strength to provide clear direction and leadership.
Second, we must steadfastly pool collective strength and steer high-quality, sustainable development. We will continue to leverage the leading role of Party building, align our planning and deployment with the overarching development agenda, rigorously implement the accountability system for ideological work, harness the momentum of vigorous progress to drive development, effectively mobilize the fighting spirit of all cadres and employees, and forge ahead with determination to usher in a new chapter in the company’s development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
Third, we must consolidate the Party’s governing foundation and strengthen grassroots organizational development. We need to firmly shoulder and implement the political responsibility for managing and governing the Party, ensuring that the chain of accountability is fully tightened and enforced. We should continue to deepen the building of learning-oriented Party organizations, leveraging learning to empower future development. Moreover, we must effectively manage and cultivate the contingent of Party members, guiding and encouraging the broad ranks of Party members and cadres to be bold in pioneering and taking initiative, adept at strategic planning and effective execution, and committed to practical, down-to-earth work.
Fourth, we must steadfastly uphold the spirit of self-revolution and deepen the comprehensive and rigorous governance of the Party. We need to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, advance the comprehensive and rigorous governance of the Party with higher standards and more concrete measures, consistently enforce the CPC Central Committee’s Eight-Point Decision on Improving Conduct, fortify the ideological bulwark against corruption and degeneration, and strive to foster a sound political environment characterized by integrity and uprightness.
Xu Xianghui emphasized that the company’s Party-member leading cadres should take this performance-reporting and evaluation exercise as an opportunity to comprehensively implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly study and apply the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, consolidate and expand the achievements of study and education, uphold the guiding role of Party building in shaping values, firmly focus on the primary task of high-quality development, adopt a pragmatic and down-to-earth approach, and work diligently and effectively, so as to make greater contributions to opening up a new phase during the 15th Five-Year Plan period!
