Yang Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China SPD Bank, visited and provided guidance on the Phase V and Second Ethylene Project of Rongtai in Lianyungang.

On January 9, Yang Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China SPD Bank, visited the Lianyungang Rongtai Phase V project and the second low-temperature ethylene project undertaken by China Air Separation Equipment Co., Ltd. to conduct on-site research and provide guidance. Xu Xianghui, General Manager of the company, Li Jijie, Deputy General Manager, Hu Zhongjie, Deputy General Manager of the Energy Engineering Company and General Manager of the Lianyungang Branch, along with relevant personnel from the branch, accompanied him during the visit.
At the site of the Rongtai Phase V project, Yang Yong gained a detailed understanding of China Air Separation’s business operations in Lianyungang and the project’s execution progress, and carefully listened to the plan for advancing the project in the next phase. Yang Yong expressed full recognition of the high-quality construction progress of both projects, particularly praising the two units of the Rongtai Phase V project. We commend the breakthroughs achieved in process technology and project execution for the 120,000-cubic-meter fully enclosed concrete tank.
Regarding the project construction, Yang Yong put forward three requirements:
First, we must continue to promote the deep integration of Party building with production and operations. Leverage the collaborative leadership effectiveness of the “Party Building Alliance” and the exemplary role of Party members, using high-quality Party building to drive high-quality project development, ensuring that the “two banners” fly high.
Second, we must continuously build core competitiveness and ensure effective project execution. Leveraging the company’s accumulated strengths and experience in the field of low-temperature storage and transportation, we will continue to build on our successes, advance the project toward its milestones with high standards and high quality, and deliver a flagship project.
Third, we must continuously strengthen our awareness of safety and quality and rigorously enforce safe production practices. Strengthen and firmly establish the safety awareness of "zero tolerance for even the slightest flaw—any single lapse could lead to catastrophic consequences," rigorously focus on project safety and quality, strictly implement risk prevention and control measures, and ensure the steady and safe advancement of the project.
During this visit, Yang Yong also met with senior leaders of Shenghong Petrochemical (Lianyungang) Port Storage & Transportation Co., Ltd. to exchange views and hold talks on deepening the areas of cooperation between the two sides and jointly promoting win-win development.
