A lucky start to the New Year—Air Separation delivers good news! On February 8, after fierce competition, China Air Separation successfully won the bid for the multi-level prevention and control system construction project for a sudden water pollution incident at the Health Bio-Industry Park in Jinhua. This marks another significant step forward for the company in the field of chemical park construction and highlights its advanced technological capabilities in intelligent monitoring and accident prevention.

Located in the Jinhua Health Bio-Industry Park, this project is actively drawing on lessons learned by China Air Separation in response to the multi-level prevention and control requirements for sudden water pollution incidents in Zhejiang Province’s chemical industrial parks. The “Nanyang Practice” represents an innovative achievement—both in practice and theory—that embodies the approach of “exchanging space for time, and using time to ensure safety.” The company has implemented key measures such as “identifying spaces, formulating plans, and conducting drills,” and is committed to building a multi-level prevention and control system for water pollutants within the industrial park. This system includes enterprise-level multi-level online monitoring and access services for companies located in the Jinxi Health Bio-Industry Park; procurement, installation, commissioning, and training related to gate valves for multi-level prevention and control at the park and watershed levels; construction of an intelligent management and control platform; procurement and integration of monitoring equipment; procurement and laying of associated wires and cables; and procurement of emergency supplies for the park.

Leveraging its professional strengths in chemical engineering design, the company will conduct a comprehensive survey of hazardous chemicals used by all enterprises within the industrial park, perform detailed characteristic analyses of each hazardous chemical individually, and establish... The MSDS chemical technology database, combined with intelligent technologies—including AI-powered algorithms, edge computing, and IoT technologies—enables simulation of pollutant water diffusion, analysis of water volume, and overflow assessment. This empowers park management personnel to implement timely and effective control measures, ensuring that not a single drop of accidental wastewater leaves the park premises.

Upon completion of the project, a relatively complete enterprise-level system will be established. —A multi-level prevention and control system for sudden water pollution incidents at the enterprise, park, and watershed levels—effectively enhances the emergency preparedness and response capabilities for sudden water pollution events in parks and watersheds, and helps the Jinhua Healthy Bio-Industry Park safeguard the bottom line of ecological and environmental safety.

In recent years, China Air Separation has achieved remarkable results in the construction of fine chemical industrial parks. Committed to continuously enhancing safety and environmental protection standards through innovative technologies, stringent management, and high-quality services, the company is driving the upgrading and transformation of chemical parks. Looking ahead, China Air Separation will continue to collaborate with all stakeholders to jointly write a new chapter of high-quality development for fine chemical industrial parks.
