The auspicious snow heralds the passing of the old year, and the Year of the Dragon brings blessings to celebrate the New Year. As the New Year’s bells ring out and the Spring Festival ushers in a time of joy and renewal, the Party and Government Leadership Team of China Air Separation extends its warmest holiday greetings to all employees and staff members of the company! We pay our highest respect to those frontline workers who remain steadfast at their posts during the Spring Festival! We offer our sincerest blessings to the families of our employees who have quietly supported us all along! And we extend our heartfelt gratitude to leaders, customers, and shareholders from all walks of life who have shown us ongoing care and trust!
The year 2023, just past, was an extraordinary one—a pivotal year marking the beginning of the comprehensive implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and serving as a crucial transitional year for our company as we carried forward the achievements of the 14th Five-Year Plan and set the stage for the next phase. All cadres and employees kept our goals firmly in mind, worked together with one heart and one mind, persevered through challenges, and rose against the odds, delivering a remarkable turnaround. We shouldered our responsibilities and sustained the momentum for the company’s upward development.
Party building provides guidance and sets the direction; thematic education strengthens faith. Over the past year, we have steadfastly upheld Party building as our guiding principle, deeply studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. We have also launched the “11517” value-based Party building system, firmly anchoring our course ahead! We have carried out thematic education in a solid and thorough manner, established a leading group for corporate reform, and kept the “two banners” flying high—making overcoming difficulties and achieving victory a true creed!
Together, we tackle challenges and forge ahead with unwavering determination; united in purpose, our steps resound with strength and resolve. Over the past year, we’ve deepened our market development efforts and rigorously ensured project execution. Jinhua secured a strong opening win, Huanghai saw the completion of its twin towers, smart factories have been revitalized, and the Belt and Road Initiative has ushered in a new chapter! We’ve focused on technological innovation and concentrated on enhancing management—new awards for invention patents have been announced, exciting news about scientific and technological achievements has been shared, mechanisms have been optimized to boost efficiency, and risk prevention measures have been strengthened to safeguard our growth.
Through wind and rain, we journey toward the vast ocean; united in heart, we write the prologue to our shared dreams. Over the past year, we’ve pooled our passion and dedication to serve society, extended heartfelt support to educators, and rushed to aid disaster-stricken areas. We’ve learned from the best, worked together with determination, and eagerly embraced the Asian Games with a spirit of proactive advancement! Amid scorching heat, we’ve “sweated” tirelessly to safeguard our projects; in freezing winds and snowstorms, we’ve stood firm and fought bravely. Together, hand in hand, we’ve braved all challenges and marched forward joyfully—sharing warmth and forging a new chapter of dreams in the air separation industry!
2024 is the Year of the Dragon—Jia Chen in the Chinese lunar calendar—and marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China. It is a pivotal year for our company to seize opportunities, build momentum, empower ourselves, catch up and surpass others, and accelerate high-quality development.
Tigers crouch, dragons coil—today’s splendor surpasses the past; skies and earth have been turned upside down, yet we feel bold and spirited. In the new year, let us hold high the great banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, firmly grasp our new missions and new roles in this new era and on this new journey, and strive to become a first-class, technology-driven engineering company in China. With the vigorous spirit of “dragons soaring and flourishing” and the heartfelt aspiration of “prosperity and success,” let us usher in a brand-new era!
The jade tally bids farewell to the Phoenix Gate, while iron cavalry encircles the Dragon City. In the new year, let us fully implement the guiding principles of the Central Economic Work Conference, adhering to the overarching tone of seeking progress while maintaining stability, using progress to bolster stability, and establishing new foundations before dismantling the old. We must firmly grasp the primary task of high-quality development, energetically expand markets, ensure rigorous execution, strengthen technological innovation, and enhance management.
