Located in the Xuyu New Area of Lianyungang, one of the nation’s seven major petrochemical industry bases, this project primarily includes one 120,000 m³ cryogenic general-purpose storage tank for propane and butane, one 120,000 m³ cryogenic general-purpose storage tank for ethane and ethylene, one 50,000 m³ cryogenic liquid ammonia storage tank, two 3,000 m³ spherical tanks for liquid ammonia, two 4,000 m³ spherical tanks for propane and butane, as well as associated process systems for loading and unloading ships and trucks, reheating and transportation, and supporting utility systems—all delivered under an EPC turnkey contract. The project broke ground on December 8, 2022, and was smoothly handed over on October 28, 2024. Upon completion, the project will meet the upstream-downstream balance and emergency supply needs of Shenghong Refining & Chemical and Sinopec Shilbang Petrochemical for ethylene, liquid ammonia, propane, and butane, providing abundant resources to support the development of the petrochemical deep-processing industry. It will also continue to increase the substitution rate of imported products, significantly enhance the modernization level of industrial and supply chains, and help the local area build a green and low-carbon energy supply system.
