The project is located in the Dalian Changxing Island (Xizhongdao) Petrochemical Base—one of the nation’s seven major petrochemical hubs. The initial phase of the project involves constructing one 50,000 m³ cryogenic ethylene full-containment tank along with associated supporting facilities. In the long term, land has been reserved for the construction of four additional 160,000 m³ cryogenic ethane full-containment tanks. The Changxing Island (Xizhongdao) Petrochemical Base will adopt a development model characterized by scale, intensification, integration, and diversification, building a large-scale refining and chemical integrated production base featuring multiple industrial chains and product clusters. This project marks the company’s new journey of deepening its presence in China’s petrochemical sector, following its earlier establishment of the Lianyungang Petrochemical Base.
