Project Overview:
The Henan Province Natural Gas Emergency Reserve Center project is a regional gas storage center constructed by Henan Natural Gas Storage and Transportation Co., Ltd.—the first provincial-level gas storage platform established nationwide by the National Development and Reform Commission in accordance with the principles of “overall planning and centralized construction.”
China Air Separation Engineering Co., Ltd. is responsible for the EPC engineering of four 20,000 m³ LNG bimetallic full-containment storage tanks, which are being constructed in Zhengzhou, Jiaozuo, Zhoukou, and Zhumadian. These projects will provide Henan Province with a stable gas supply, playing a positive role in optimizing the energy structure, reducing environmental pollution, and improving the investment climate. Each storage center has a gasification and export capacity of up to 100,000 cubic meters per hour and can replace 25,000 tons of scattered coal annually, effectively addressing the long-standing natural gas shortage that has plagued production and daily life in Henan. This ensures a reliable supply of natural gas for residents’ daily needs and strongly promotes energy conservation and emission reduction.
