On May 22, Zhou Kaiquan, a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee and Deputy General Manager of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), led a delegation to visit and provide guidance at China Air Separation. Zhang Yu, Director of the Group’s Operations and Management Department, accompanied the delegation on the visit. Lou Jiangning, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, chaired the meeting and presented a work report. Members of the company’s leadership team and senior executives at the assistant general manager level also attended the visit.

At the research meeting, Lou Jiangning gave a comprehensive report on the company’s basic situation, business areas, scientific and technological R&D, production and operations, Party and mass work, as well as its future development direction.

After listening to the report, Zhou Kaiquan engaged in an in-depth exchange with the participants. Zhou Kaiquan fully affirmed the achievements China Air Separation has made over the past four decades by focusing on niche markets, prioritizing technology, and driving business development. He also expressed his recognition of the effective integration of Party building with production and operations that China Air Separation has achieved.

To promote the better development of China’s air separation industry, Zhou Kaiquan put forward five requirements:

First, we must strengthen technological innovation and accelerate the development of new-quality productivity. We should focus on our core responsibilities and main business, leveraging our technological advantages in niche areas, enriching our business models, and enhancing our professional operational capabilities. We must strive to convert our technological strengths into product advantages, continuously bolster our core functions, enhance our core competitiveness, and speed up the formation of new-quality productivity.

Second, we must seize the opportunities presented by the current situation and drive development through transformation and innovation. We need to pay close attention to major national development trends and industry change patterns, strengthen our analysis and judgment, and proactively turn challenges into opportunities. By fostering technological innovation, institutional innovation, and model innovation, we can support the company’s transformative development.

Third, we must strengthen resource integration and promote internal collaboration and cooperation. While staying fully focused on our own business development, we should enhance coordination and exchange with other units within the group, make good use of relevant platform resources, and broaden our own growth pathways.

Fourth, we must prioritize safe production and fully harness the value of our core technologies. We need to implement the “Three Controls and Three Musts” requirements, strike a balance between safe production and technological innovation, and enhance safety management levels through iterative upgrades of process technologies.

Fifth, we must uphold Party building as the guiding principle and use it to boost enterprise production and operations. We must continue to leverage the leading role of Party building, promote the deep integration of Party building with enterprise production and operations, and effectively translate the outcomes of Party discipline study and education into tangible achievements for the company’s high-quality development.

At the meeting, Zhang Yu provided specific guidance on matters such as internal collaboration within the group and project management.

Zhou Kaiquan and his delegation toured the company’s typical project sand table models and gained an understanding of the operational processes and other details related to the relevant engineering equipment.
