To earnestly study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, deepen the findings from research, build consensus, and promote development, on October 15, the Party Committee of China Air Separation held its fifth centralized study session for the Party Committee’s theoretical study group and a symposium for sharing research results for 2024. The meeting was chaired by Lou Jiangning, Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee and Chairman of the Board.
At the meeting, members of the Party Committee’s theoretical study group led the reading of selected articles from “100 Questions for Studying the Decision of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.” Members of the company’s leadership team engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions around the annual work objectives and key tasks, building on the earlier brainstorming session titled “Focusing on Goals, Confronting Challenges, Seizing Opportunities, and Overcoming Difficulties.” Drawing on previous research and feedback received, they further explored these topics in greater depth.
Lou Jiangning delivered a concluding speech. He emphasized the need to thoroughly study, implement, and carry out the spirit of the plenary session, seamlessly integrating it with the transformation of research findings and the practical realities of the company’s reform and development. In conjunction with the implementation of the Action Plan for Deepening and Enhancing State-Owned Enterprise Reform, we must strive vigorously to achieve all the company’s goals and tasks.
Focusing on studying the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, Lou Jiangning put forward three points of advice regarding the company’s next steps:
First, we must spare no effort in studying, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party. Studying, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the Plenary Session is a major political task for the present and the period ahead. We must deeply grasp the essence of the spirit and understand its core implications, ensuring that we study it thoroughly and accurately, learn it comprehensively and systematically, and integrate and apply it in a holistic manner. We must also continue to carry out effective publicity and guidance, closely linking the spirit of the Plenary Session with our study and understanding of the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping, consolidating and deepening the achievements of Party discipline education, and laying a solid foundation for advancing and implementing the reform tasks.
II. Deeply understand the theme of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, grasp the direction of reform, and pool reform efforts. Deeply recognize the importance and necessity of comprehensively deepening reform, and gain a thorough understanding of the strategic significance and guiding principles underlying the reform of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises. We must resolve to push ahead with reform and continuously build core competitiveness; we must stay on course with reform, adopting an open attitude to explore untapped growth opportunities; and we must unite our forces for reform, inspiring cadres and employees to approach reform work with a spirit of vigorous initiative and proactive engagement.
Third, we must thoroughly implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, formulate reform initiatives, and ensure the successful completion of annual goals and tasks. To effectively study and implement the spirit of the Plenary Session, we need to build consensus, identify key issues, and ensure that our learning outcomes are transformed into a powerful driving force for promoting the company’s high-quality development. We must stay firmly focused on our objectives, closely monitor critical performance indicators, and make every effort to deliver a strong finish in the fourth quarter and win the year-long battle. We must have a clear understanding of the current situation, seize the opportunity at year-end, carefully plan project deployments, and foster the company’s long-term growth. We must also strengthen management and continuously create a favorable environment that encourages people to take initiative, be capable of getting things done, and achieve concrete results.
