To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and to promote the spirit of patriotism and the spirit of the times, on October 16, the “Craftsmanship Pursues Dreams—My Contribution to Enterprise Development” PPT skills competition, hosted by the company’s trade union and organized by the Party Committee Office (Party Committee Publicity Department), was passionately held. Through learning via competition and applying what is learned, the competition aims to inspire all employees to embrace a more vigorous fighting spirit and a more pragmatic work ethic, jointly writing a new chapter of high-quality development for the company. Comrade Sheng Jianbing, member of the company’s Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union, attended the competition and delivered a speech. The competition was moderated by Lu Yijun, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union. A total of 22 contestants from five teams representing various engineering companies and functional departments took part in the competition.
Leadership Address
Before the competition began, Jianbing Shang delivered a speech, extending his best wishes for its complete success. He pointed out that the competition’s theme—“Craftsmanship Builds Dreams”—emphasizes our need to approach our work with an attitude of relentless pursuit of excellence and to embrace the spirit of craftsmanship as we chase our dreams. The phrase “My Contribution to the Company’s Prosperity” underscores that the company’s thriving development is inseparable from the hard work and dedication of every single employee! He expressed his hope that all participating contestants would take this competition as an opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to excellence in their daily work, contributing their skills and talents wholeheartedly, and achieving remarkable accomplishments and well-rounded personal growth in their respective roles!

This competition features 10 “Company Introduction PPTs” and 14 “Specialized Topic PPTs.” Following the order determined by the pre-competition draw, 22 contestants from five participating teams—the PP Vanguard Team, Qi “Zhi” Leading Team, Hong Xian Feng Team, Yan “Zhi” Bao Biao Team, and Chemical Heroes—will take the stage one after another to deliver exciting and diverse presentations and compete fiercely.
The contestants focused on their PPT design ideas and key content, presenting the audience with uniquely creative visual presentations and passionately delivered speeches. From “self-sufficient operation technology for air separation units” to “the creation of concrete storage tanks,” from “a presentation of the wastewater treatment plant’s expansion and renovation project” to “a vision of the future for the fine chemical industrial park,” from “the new Company Law” to “the distinctive highlights of corporate Party building”—it truly was a scene of “eight immortals crossing the sea, each displaying their own magical powers,” with a vibrant array of diverse perspectives and lively debates.
Award Ceremony
After nearly two hours of exciting competition and meticulous scoring by the on-site judges, the results of the contest were announced to great fanfare, and the contestants from each participating team returned home with honors.
