From October 13 to 15, the kickoff meeting for the technical renovation project of the liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen backup system for the air separation unit, contracted by China Air Separation as the general contractor, was held at China Air Separation. Attending the meeting were Dong Yunwen, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Coal Ordos Energy & Chemical Co., Ltd.; Li Jijie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Air Separation; Zhang Xingdong, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager; and relevant project leaders. The meeting was chaired by Li Yanpeng, Deputy General Manager of China Air Separation Gas Engineering Company and Project Director.
The meeting heard a briefing on the project’s overall implementation plan, design, procurement, and construction management. Participants from both sides engaged in discussions and exchanges on the plans and schemes for various aspects of the project, including design, procurement, and construction management, thereby making meticulous arrangements and laying a solid foundation for the project’s commencement and steady progress through each phase.

Dong Yunwen stated that China Air Separation has deep expertise in the air separation field, boasting extensive experience in engineering general contracting, core technological advantages, and a portfolio of high-quality project cases. Previously, the company successfully completed the construction of three air separation units for Zhongmei E’nehua. He expressed confidence that this backup system technology upgrade project will, as always, be delivered smoothly and successfully. He urged the project team to leverage their professional strengths and drive each stage of the project forward steadily and with the highest standards and quality.

Li Jijie expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the long-term trust that Zhongmei E’nenghua has consistently placed in China Air Separation. He noted that the two sides have already achieved remarkable results in their previous two joint collaborations, and through this third collaboration on the project, China Air Separation will further provide “full-lifecycle value services” to help Zhongmei E’nenghua build a comprehensive and highly reliable emergency gas supply network for its production operations. He hopes that both sides will continue to strengthen communication and exchange as the project progresses, work together hand in hand, once again create a benchmark project, and set a shining example of win-win cooperation.
The kickoff meeting for this project has achieved excellent results. Both parties have clearly defined all aspects of the project’s implementation plan, further strengthening mutual trust and cooperation. Together, we will pursue high-quality project collaboration and take our high-quality development to a new level!
