Pragmatic Action and Integrated Enhancement: CNASEC Party Committee Conducts 2026 Party Affairs Cadre Training

Pragmatic action and a sense of responsibility drive development, while integration and empowerment propel continuous improvement. To thoroughly carry out study and education on establishing and practicing the correct view of political achievements, to continuously promote the deep integration of Party building with business operations, to cultivate a contingent of Party affairs cadres capable of shouldering major responsibilities, and to constantly elevate the standard of Party building work, on April 24, the Party Committee of CNASEC held the 2026 training program for Party affairs cadres. The training session featured a special lecture delivered by Fan Fengsong, Head of the Party Committee Office of Sumida Corporation. Xu Xianghui, Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee and Chairman, gave the opening address, while Sang Jianbing, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, attended the session. Zhou Lijun, Deputy Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee, chaired the training, which was attended by all full-time and part-time party affairs personnel.

This training program features a rich and diverse array of activities, including opening remarks and mobilization, specialized lectures, the awarding of “Five-Star Party Branch” plaques and experience-sharing sessions, publicity and recognition of exemplary practices, briefings on Party-building work, exchange and discussion on the “Two Deliveries” initiative, and the deployment of key Party-building priorities. These efforts are designed to solidly advance the development of learning-oriented Party organizations, help all Party affairs cadres strengthen their foundations, engage in mutual learning and cross-fertilization, and achieve common improvement, thereby further energizing the red driving force that propels the company’s high-quality, sustainable development.

A Kickoff Mobilization Session to Define the Path Forward

Xu Xianghui delivered the opening address. He commended the work achievements of all Party affairs cadres, encouraged them to cherish the training opportunity, engage in in-depth study and exchange, and apply what they have learned to practice, so as to contribute their wisdom and strength to comprehensively enhancing the value and effectiveness of the company’s Party building work. He also put forward three hopes and requirements:

First, we must elevate our political stance and advance study and education on establishing and practicing a correct view of official achievements. We should solidify the foundation of our faith to address the question of “for whom do we serve”; promote a pragmatic work style to rectify formalism; and strictly abide by discipline and rules, always maintaining a sense of reverence.

Second, we must engage in in-depth study to effectively enhance our professional competence and practical capabilities. Study theory to enhance political competence; study professional skills to become a subject-matter expert; and study methods to strengthen our ability to engage in struggle.

Third is Use learning to drive action and strive to excel in the examination of Party building quality enhancement and empowerment. Excel in “strengthening roots and forging souls”; excel in “value creation”; and excel in “uniting hearts and pooling strengths.”

Special Invited Lecture: Sharing Party-Building Experience

Drawing on three dimensions—“exploration and discovery, pathways and methodologies, and concrete practice”—Fan Fengsong delivered a comprehensive, case-rich, and highly practical seminar on the integration of Party-building work with other business functions, profoundly inspiring, greatly energizing, and immensely beneficial to all Party affairs officials.

Communicate the Spirit of the New Regulations and Uphold Integrity in Professional Conduct

Shang Jianbing delivered a special Party lesson on the “Regulations on Integrity in the Conduct of Leaders of State-Owned Enterprises,” during which he distributed pocket guides on integrity education and positive–negative checklists for fostering and practicing a correct view of political achievements to all Party affairs officers. He urged all Party affairs officers to remain constantly vigilant in upholding integrity and self-discipline, to continuously deepen the building of clean and honest Party branches, and to make every effort to create a “clean and honest air separation division,” thereby establishing a solid safeguard for the company’s healthy and sustainable development.

Awarding of Five-Star Party Branch Titles and Sharing of Best Practices

Xu Xianghui presented plaques to the Energy Party Branch and the Gas Party Branch, both of which were rated as “Five-Star Party Branches” in the 2025 Party Building Performance Assessment. Zhou Fenghua, Secretary of the Gas Party Branch, and Lu Yijun, Secretary of the Energy Party Branch, respectively shared their branches’ distinctive practices and exemplary experiences, thereby encouraging all party branches to learn from these strengths and achieve common progress and improvement.

Three Initiatives for Publicity and Recognition to Inspire Joint Achievements

During the training session, the company’s Party Committee conducted an evaluation and recognition of the 2025 Outstanding Publicity Teams, Top Ten Correspondents, and Outstanding Works, further consolidating synergy in publicity efforts and inspiring enthusiasm for work and creative endeavors.

“Two Contributions” Exchange, Discussion, and Integration for Enhancement

He Hongying, Deputy Director of the Party Committee Office (in charge of daily operations), briefed on the results of the first-quarter party-building inspection, summarized the new initiatives and achievements in integrating party building with business operations across all branches, analyzed existing shortcomings and deficiencies, and further clarified the direction for optimizing and enhancing party-building work.

Each branch conducted an open, in-depth, pragmatic, and efficient “Two Contributions” interactive exchange centered on the theme of “bringing one lesson learned and raising one issue,” thoroughly discussing experiences and measures for focusing on the central tasks, serving the overall situation, and promoting the deep integration and enhancement of Party building with business operations.

Zhou Lijun made work arrangements and put forward four requirements for effectively advancing Party building in the next phase:

One We must forge a steadfast ideological core and let politics guide us in charting the right course. By accurately discerning our political orientation, we will carry out thorough study and education on establishing and practicing a correct view of official achievements, adhere to the principle of applying what we learn to practical work, and thereby empower future development.

Second, we must unleash the power of innovation to break new ground by enhancing quality and boosting efficiency. We will deepen brand empowerment to stimulate endogenous momentum; tell the story of air separation with compelling narratives to enhance communication effectiveness; and deepen exchanges and mutual learning to foster collaborative advancement.

Third, we must shoulder the responsibility of pragmatic action and drive development through focused, high-impact efforts. We will strengthen the combat system for tackling tough challenges and forge unified synergy; reinforce performance-based orientation to promote integration and empowerment; and cultivate a rigorous work style to ensure effective implementation and tangible results.

Fourth, we must harness the power of culture to forge unity and synergy. This entails deepening three-dimensional integration to solidify the cultural foundation; intensifying ideological guidance to build broad ideological consensus; and strengthening Party leadership over Youth League work to energize momentum for progress.

This training session has served as a profound ideological and theoretical education, a rigorous enhancement of professional competence, and a powerful boost to our spiritual outlook. Through the training, all Party affairs cadres have further strengthened their Party spirit, exchanged work experiences, and explored new ideas and initiatives for integrated improvement. Moving forward, we will adopt a higher strategic perspective, a more pragmatic work style, stronger capabilities, and more effective measures to fortify our ideological core, unleash the power of innovation, shoulder the responsibility of hard work, and harness the strength of culture. In doing so, we will continue to promote the deep integration of Party building with business operations, thereby providing robust support for the company’s high-quality, sustainable development and for writing a new chapter in the development of air separation.
