Recently, the Hangzhou Survey and Design Industry Association issued a notice announcing the results of the 2026 Hangzhou Survey and Design Industry Outstanding Achievements (Comprehensive Category) recognition. The storage tank area project (Phase V), Section I, undertaken by CNASEC for Lianyungang Rongtai Chemical Storage Co., Ltd., as well as the Zero Direct Discharge of Wastewater and Wastewater Treatment Plant Reconstruction Project in Hangbu Town, Kecheng District—specifically the wastewater treatment plant reconstruction component—were both listed and awarded the Second Prize in the “Comprehensive Engineering” category.
A total of 858 projects were submitted for this review. Following rigorous document evaluation and comprehensive expert assessment, two of the company’s projects stood out and were awarded. This recognition fully affirms CNASEC’s design expertise and engineering quality, while providing strong momentum for the company to further strengthen technological innovation and deliver high‑quality, exemplary projects.
Rongtai Phase V Project
This project has set a new record in China’s air separation industry for the largest single‑project contract value, with tank capacities reaching 120,000 cubic meters and a diverse array of storage vessel types, successfully establishing a benchmark “cryogenic storage tank museum.” Leveraging its core technological strengths in cryogenic storage and transportation, the project employs internationally advanced full‑containment tank technology, paired with a highly efficient insulation system, while also incorporating cold‑energy recovery and utilization processes and equipping a purging‑and‑recovery system. These measures effectively enhance energy efficiency and optimize costs. The project supports the local development of a green, low‑carbon energy supply system, continues to contribute China National Machinery Industry Corporation’s expertise to Lianyungang’s efforts to accelerate the construction of a trillion‑yuan petrochemical industry cluster, and amplifies the momentum driving integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta.
Hangbu Project
This project provides treatment services for all of Hangbu Town’s wastewater, as well as the industrial effluent from nearly 80 enterprises located in the town’s western industrial zone. Guided by a spirit of meticulous craftsmanship, CNASEC has delivered an outstanding design and laid a solid foundation for a high‑quality engineering solution. In this project, it employs a process comprising coarse and fine screens and vortex grit removal, equalization, an enhanced A²/O system, secondary sedimentation, an advanced fluoride‑removal stage, and tertiary treatment, thereby helping the local area achieve comprehensive environmental benefits—clear water, clean air, and reduced sludge. This not only directly improves the environmental quality of Hangbu Town and its industrial park in Kecheng District but also plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the water quality of the Changshan River, enhancing regional environmental standards, and promoting resource recycling, thus supporting the region’s transition to green, sustainable economic development.
