On July 26, the world’s largest single-unit green ammonia plant—the Dahan Wind-Solar-to-Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Integrated Demonstration Project of State Power Investment Corporation—began operations. Among them, the air separation unit constructed by China Air Separation successfully went into operation ahead of schedule on June 16. Since its commissioning, the unit has been running smoothly, providing a reliable nitrogen feedstock for ammonia synthesis and serving as a “feedstock engine.”

In Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, there’s an intelligent system known as the “Wastewater Sentinel” that is quietly safeguarding the water quality standards of the Jinhua Health Park. This system is part of the “Jinhua Health Bio-Industry Park Multi-Level Prevention and Control System for Sudden Water Pollution Incidents,” a project undertaken by China Air Separation. Not only was this project among the first in Zhejiang Province to pass acceptance testing and serve as a model case, but it also won the third prize in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s “Bloom Cup” 5G Typical Application Competition and made it to the finals of the National Data Element Competition. The project has been widely covered by numerous media outlets, including Zhejiang News, Chao News, and Toutiao, generating significant public attention and positive social response.

On July 8, the first batch of green ammonia was loaded and dispatched from the Farvision Chifeng Zero-Carbon Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park, located in Yuanbao District, Chifeng City. This marks the official completion and commissioning of the first phase—320,000 tons—of the Farvision Zero-Carbon Hydrogen Ammonia Project, the world’s first megaton-scale zero-carbon hydrogen-ammonia project meticulously developed by Farvision Technology Group. It signifies that China’s green hydrogen-ammonia industry has moved from the stage of demonstration and exploration into a new phase of large-scale commercial operations.

On July 6, good news came from the construction site of the EPC general contracting project for the 70,000-unit centralized air separation and air compression unit undertaken by China Air Separation in Fujian Fuhai Chuang—concrete pouring for the fractionation tower cold box foundation was successfully completed. This marks a major breakthrough at a critical milestone of the project and lays a solid foundation for subsequent equipment installation and process piping construction.

Recently, China Air Separation Engineering Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Suopu New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. successfully signed a contract, marking the launch of a new chapter of win-win cooperation in their joint venture—a turnkey EPC project for a 30,000 m³ cryogenic ethylene tank facility dedicated to vinyl acetate and EVA integrated production. In advancing the project and implementing the national strategy for the development of the new materials industry, the two parties are taking a fresh step forward together.
