Foreword: 2024 is a pivotal year for our company—a year in which we will seize opportunities, build momentum, and empower ourselves to catch up, surpass others, and accelerate high-quality development. The Party Committee of China Air Separation has launched the thematic campaign “Pioneers Lead by Example, Shining with Our Party Emblem on the Front Lines.” Each party branch has taken “projects led by branch secretaries” and “innovative projects spearheaded by Party members” as key vehicles. As a result, the vast majority of Party members have further strengthened their determination and confidence to “always strive for the highest honors, always compete for leadership, always overcome difficulties, and always emerge victorious in battle,” charging ahead and fighting at the very forefront!

“The east wind scatters rain and dew, ushering in spring for heaven and earth!” On April 20, Lin Hongyu, Secretary of the Jining Municipal Party Committee of Shandong Province, and her delegation visited China Air Separation. Building on the earlier cooperation agreement signed between China Air Separation and Jining, Shandong—the “China Green Plant Protection Technology Industrial Park Project Cooperation Agreement”—they engaged in an in-depth exchange centered around the China Green Pesticide Collaborative Innovation Industrial Park project. Lou Jiangning, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Air Separation, warmly welcomed Lin Hongyu and her delegation. Accompanying the delegation were Dong Bo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jining Municipal Party Committee and Secretary-General; Liu Dongbo, Vice Mayor of the Jining Municipal Government; and Yuan Yibin, Secretary of the Zoucheng Municipal Party Committee. Also present at the exchange were Lu Qi, Chief Engineer of China Air Separation and General Manager of the Chemical Engineering Company, as well as Dong Jie, Secretary of the Board of Directors.

In 2023, the Party Committee of China National Machinery Industry Corporation launched the “Hundred-Thousand Project” for grassroots Party branch construction across the entire system, clearly emphasizing the importance of strengthening grassroots-level work. The project identified and cultivated more than 100 model Party branches, continuously enhancing the quality of grassroots Party building. The Party Committee of China National Air Separation Co., Ltd. actively implemented this initiative, carefully summarized and refined its practical explorations in branch work, consistently deepened the development of its Party-building brand, and comprehensively boosted the organizational strength at the grassroots level. Among them, the Party branch of the Energy Company was recognized as a model Party branch under Sumeida’s “Hundred-Thousand Project.” The branch’s exemplary case, titled “Daring to Innovate, Creating High-Quality Work, and Polishing the Party-Building Brand,” was included in the “Compilation of Case Studies on the ‘Party Building +’ Brand Development Initiative of Sinomach—Integration, Enhancement, and Empowerment.”

The spring breeze brings good news! On March 29, as the liquid level in the ethylene storage tank rose to the designated height and all relevant indicators met the design requirements with high quality, the plant operated smoothly. The second low-temperature ethylene unit of Lianyungang Rongtai was successfully started up on its first attempt, marking another significant achievement for China Air Separation in its deep cultivation of the low-temperature storage tank sector, its efforts to build a green energy system, and its contribution to the development of the petrochemical industry in Lianyungang!

On March 28, the China Green Plant Protection Industrial Park Investment and Development Conference was successfully held in Zoucheng City, Shandong Province, marking a further step forward in the implementation of the "China Green Plant Protection Technology Industrial Park Project Cooperation Agreement" signed between China Air Separation and Zoucheng, Shandong. This milestone represents a solid advancement for the industrial park project.
