Together with the earlier agreements signed between China Air Separation and Shandong—the "Cooperation Agreement on the China Green Plant Protection Technology Industrial Park Project" and the "Cooperation Agreement on the Bromine Chemical Industry Park Project"—they conducted an in-depth investigation and provided guidance on the development of China’s specialty fine chemical industrial park project.

The meeting was chaired by Sheng Jianbing, member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, and head of the Coordination Group. Members attending the meeting included members of the company’s Commission for Discipline Inspection, discipline inspection committee members from various branches, and members of the Coordination Group for Building a Clean and Honest Party Conduct and Combating Corruption.

On the morning of March 8, Chen Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Laizhou City, Shandong Province, along with his delegation, visited China Air Separation to have an in-depth exchange and discussion on the construction progress and industrial planning of the China Bromine Chemical Industry Park project. Lou Jiangning, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, warmly welcomed Chen Gang and his delegation. Also present were Qiu Zhaoming, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Mayor of Laizhou City Government; Wu Yandong, Director of the Laizhou Bureau of Commerce; Yin Zhaozhong, Director of the Laizhou YinHai Chemical Industry Park Management Service Center; and relevant personnel from various departments of the Laizhou City Government. Xu Xianghui, General Manager of the company, and Lu Qi, Chief Engineer and General Manager of the Chemical Engineering Company, also participated in the meeting.

At 9:00 a.m. on March 5, the second session of the 14th National People’s Congress opened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Xi Jinping and other Party and state leaders attended the opening ceremony, during which Premier Li Qiang delivered the Government Work Report. The Party Committee of China Air Separation Industries paid close attention to this event and actively organized Party members and the general public to watch the Two Sessions, carefully listen to the Government Work Report, gain a comprehensive understanding of the country’s guiding principles and major trends, and bravely shoulder their responsibilities while working together toward common development.

On February 23, the China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH) held its 2024 Work Conference on Fully and Strictly Governing the Party. At the conference, SINOMACH’s “Two Excellent and One Advanced” awards for 2023 were presented, and the Party Committee of China Air Separation Engineering Co., Ltd. was honored with the title of “Advanced Grassroots Party Organization of SINOMACH.”
