Great news! The coal and chemical projects undertaken by China Air Separation have each won the First Prize and Third Prize, respectively, in the 2024 Hangzhou Survey and Design Industry Outstanding Achievements Awards (Other Comprehensive Engineering).

On May 23, the Hangzhou Survey and Design Industry Association released the "Notice on the Announcement of the Results of the 2024 Hangzhou Survey and Design Industry Outstanding Achievement Recognition." The 75,000 Nm³/h air separation project for the synthetic gas-to-1-million-ton-per-year methanol technology upgrade project undertaken by China Air Separation—commissioned by Zhongmei Ordos Energy & Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Zhongmei Project")—won the first prize in the "Other Comprehensive Engineering" category. Meanwhile, the tank farm project for the Sinochem Lianyungang Circular Economy Industrial Park (hereinafter referred to as the "Sinochem Project") received the third prize in the same category. Both projects were listed, injecting fresh momentum into China Air Separation's ongoing efforts to strengthen technological innovation and accelerate the development of new-quality productivity.

The foundation pouring for the liquid ammonia storage tank of the Chifeng Farview Zero-Carbon Hydrogen-Ammonia Project has been successfully completed.

In the vigorous “Red May,” good news is spreading from the north. Recently, after a continuous 17.5-hour operation involving a total concrete pour volume of 1,425 cubic meters, the foundation slab for the liquid ammonia storage tank of the Chifeng Yuanjing Zero-Carbon Hydrogen-Ammonia Project—undertaken by China Air Separation—was successfully completed. This milestone lays a solid foundation for the steady advancement of subsequent project phases and marks the imminent transition of the project into the construction stage of the tank body itself.

The spring breeze brings good news! On March 29, as the liquid level in the ethylene storage tank rose to the designated height and all relevant indicators met the design requirements with high quality, the plant operated smoothly. The second low-temperature ethylene unit of Lianyungang Rongtai was successfully started up on its first attempt, marking another significant achievement for China Air Separation in its deep cultivation of the low-temperature storage tank sector, its efforts to build a green energy system, and its contribution to the development of the petrochemical industry in Lianyungang!
